16. Montage Project
DESCRIPTION
This week was about montage with a Christian theme. So I had a
thought to have something with good and evil. So what you see is a
old statue of an angel looking into at the skull that represents evil in
this photo. As the background I have an old scroll. I chose the scrip-
ture in 3 John 1:11 that states follow not that which is evil, but which
is good. So I also add a old nautical compass. Which you can see in
the middle to represent the direction we must go to follow the path
of goodness. I chose to go with a black and white theme to represent
good (color white) and evil (black) which is a complimentary color
scheme. Also for the fact that you are either in the dark on in the
light there is no fine line to walk. So I tried to incorporate as many
hidden messages as possible, because I really enjoyed this activity.
TOOLS
Adobe Photoshop
PROCESS
1. In Photoshop I combined all the various pictures I used to create
the montage effect. I used a variety of layer masks and the brush tool
to create the gradual blended effect.
2. I then found the scripture in 3 John 1:11.
3. I abide by the design principles such as alignment, repetition, and
flow.

18. DESCRIPTION
Embrace this is the title of my photo design. I chose to name it
this for the sheer fact of embracing the views we take in each and
everyday. I took to photo on my trip to Oahu, Hawaii just last
week 10/6/16.
TOOLS
Adobe Photoshop, Illistrator
PROCESS
The steps that I followed in my process were:
1. In photo shop I adjusted the hue and saturation and added
some definition to the photo.
2. I created a new 8.5 x 11 inch document in Photoshop.
3. Then I pulled my photo on top of it and started designing.
4. I added the shapes on the left with text. I tried to keep a good
flow throughout the design. I also made sure things are aligned.

20. Prezi
DESCRIPTION
Working on the prezi was quite fun. I have never built anything
like it before so it was fun to learn. I came up with this idea
because I love snowboarding, and Grand Targhee is my home
mountain. I though it would be good to list some of the ma-
jor pieces of the resort. So that is where each photo comes in
to play. I hope you enjoy my prezi. font used is a house font of
prezi not 100% sure on the name. Style of the font is sans serif.
My audience is all those who love to ski and snowboard. One of
the main things learned this lesson is about prezi. I have never
seen nor heard of this so it was neat to learn about this pro-
gram.

22. Magazine Cover
DESCRIPTION
So first off to start my magazine layout I started with the above
sketches to bring to life some layout ideas. Once I had a good
idea of what I wanted to put together. I moved on and built
the cover map. Which you can see was from top right sketch.
Once I had this done I moved on to my magazine cover. As
you can see for the most part it stayed the same as the map,
but I did decide to change a few things once I had them laid
out in front of me. What you see above in Reveal is my final
draft.
