Personal Profile
I have just completed my final year in Liverpool John Moores University and I am awaiting results.
Between February and may I worked part time at an engineering & solutions company called
Centralserve Ltd, and from the 18th of May I have now been there full time. From then I have been
working as part of a team designing and programming ladder code and HMI’s for factories across the
country. I consider myself a hard working individual with excellent communication and organisational
skills, whom seeking experience within the role of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Skills Profile
Technical skills
During High school I took a qualification in I.T called Certificate in Digital Applications
which has given me a good grounding in general programs such as Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.
Since coming to University I have I have developed skills in area’s such as: -
o Digital and analogue design
o Programming
PLC, C, Assembly, HMI.
o Automation
o Systems Integration with analogue and digital design
o Management and Organisation skills
o Technical Report Writing.
Team Work and Communication Skills
I have experience as a Course Representative and Course Co-ordinator
o Experience gained within this role is to take the responsibility for the
student’s opinions and voices, presenting them to staff.
I believe I have excellent communication skills, gained through working within a fast
based customer environment.
o Currently working within the customer facing role at a fast food restaurant,
meaning communication skills are in high demand.

Another area in which I gained experience as part of an organised group, is at university
during the laboratory modules:
o During design week we had to create an infrared emitter and receiver for an
electric guitar. My role in this was designing and building the Emitter as a
team of two, out of the four, and then the final testing of the whole product
and making adjustments where required.
Leadership and Management skills
During my time within the university many group projects have been completed,
during these I have assisted in making the arrangements of when to meet up and how
to split the work so that work was not only being produced but also being verified by
another member on the team to ensure no variation in quality.
Strong evidence team for work and organisational skills are shown through Martial Arts
(Ju-Jitsu).
o I was team captain during the interclub competitions. This role includes:
organising and training our team through their Kata’s and weapon practices.
o Working closely with an instructor, listening to his advice whilst making
decisions on where improvements would be viable.
o Organising and working with the team be it the high grades or the lower to
try and fit everyone in. The average size of the team was 9 member and we
had 10 minutes in a total slot.
o When the interclub competition was not in session, I acted as a sensei and
trained the newcomers and the higher grades.
Previous Employment
2015-Present Centralserve Ltd – Electrical Design Engineer
My role as an electrical design engineer is to design electrical systems and safety
systems for factories as well as program PLC’s and HMI’s.
2015-2015 Centralserve Ltd – Student Engineering Intern
My role as an Intern at Centralserve Ltd has been to design control programs for PLC
based systems as well as the HMI control panel program.
2014-2014 LJMU – Student Intern
My role during this summer was to create a work booklet for the first year students
design module. The booklet was completed on time and is now being used by the first
years.
2007-2015 McDonalds (Wigan store 103) – Customer Care
I work efficiently and effectively with a team within a town centre busy restaurant. My
role is to deal with conflict and customer relations.
