EM P L O Y MENT
Below is a list of machines and control systems I have had the opportunity to set and operate with minor
programming, some of the machines I have more experience with than others with regards to training.
Following the table there is a brief overview of what I did during my time at EATON.
Production Technician
EATON Aerospace
Nov 2015 - Present Bedhampton, UK
During my time at the Bedhampton site I have been assembling complex hydraulic pumps for aircraft
systems, this role involved measuring and hand lapping components to a high specification in size, flatness
and surface finish with the use of COSHH regulated substances. The assembly of the complex pump system
itself, torqueing each bolt to an accurately measured torque and documenting the exact tool used for
traceability purposes. During my time spent at the Bedhampton site I adhered to safe work procedures and
learnt of new hazards present in engineering environments, I was 5S champion for my cell and orginised and
managed improvements events, leading a small team in the process. With the time spent at Bedhampton in
conjunction with Titchfield I have learnt how both businesses function, that being slightly different I feel I
have benefitted from experiencing them both.

4. During my time at EATON Aerospace I took part in a variety of different work activities. I began my journey at
college 5 days a week where we learnt the basics with regards to machining, I then went on to spending 4 days
a week at work with 1 day college release, where I was placed with a highly skilled engineer who taught me
everything I needed to know about manual machining, After 6 months I went on to CNC machines where I
learnt how to interpret codes and programs and effectively set and operate a machine by myself, after a
couple of years the company was confident to place me onto a multi pallet machine where my skills
dramatically improved, I went from running one job, to running ten jobs at once. I learnt how to interpret all
forms of engineering drawings and learnt how to work effectively and efficiently to tight tolerances with
regards to engineering following all process and procedures. I also participated in various Manufacturing
Engineering tasks which involved problem solving, scrap transactions and the writing of standardized
operating procedures for other operators to follow. I acquired employee of the week for improving the
business as well as being nominated for employee of the month and also came up with a systemfor the
management of un-calibrated gauges.
I performedvariousactivitieswithinthe garage,assembled/disassembledarange of vehiclesandcomponents,changed
tireswithinashort time frame toensure customersare happyandwas trainingtobe able tore-spraycars. I alsotook
charge of the businesswhenthe ownerwasawayattimes.
