I am 57 years old and I live with my wife Jemma and enjoy various sports
including football & golf also cycling
I am a self-motivated mechanical & Electrical Engineering Manager that has
been involved in several industries and processes using the skills and
experience of my now 41 yrs in Engineering.
I have a very proactive approach to all aspect of the roles I have under taken
and strive to achieve only the highest of results using my individual
approach and management skills to achieve this.
I am a big believer in the innovation of change to get better results in not
only efficiency but reliability of equipment.

2. Employment History
Greencore, Leeds March 2016 – Present.
January 2018 - Present :- Reliability and Improvements Engineer
I have moved into a new role of Reliability and Improvements Engineer and am
trying to the move the company forward in predictive maintenance rather than
reactive using a variety of equipment doing thermography and current monitoring
.I also oversee the maintenance scheme / T card system and generally attend a
production daily review meeting to work with production to archive better results
in regard to safety / production outputs and quality.
Within my role I chair the Engineering daily review meeting after capturing
various engineering issue and then plan to tackle these issues using action plans
and planned work.I organise the holiday system including the issuing of overtime
to cover holiday / sick via our own staff or organising contracted labour to cover
the shifts.
Maintenance Engineer :- March 2016 - December 2017
Maintenance Engineer covering reactive and proactive maintenance in a multi
skilled role. I work closely with production using daily review boards for issues
that can be dealt with within 24hrs.
At the present time I have been asked to fill in for production supervisor due my
previous experience in managerial roles in engineering of which I have had great
response with my approach to peoples needs and the needs of the company.
Key Achievements
I am at present working as part of the engineering team on a new CMMS
being introduced to the being the main saver system which includes stores
and budgeting of the maintenance.
Introducing a 5s program for the workshop and self-auditing.
Introduction electronic shift reports to communicate more with production
team.

Morrison’s bakery (Rathbones) Feb 2015-Nov 2015
I am doing the role of engineering team manager on the 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
My duties: -

I organise breakdown and maintenance using the shire CMMS daily to do vital
maintenance on which ever line in available after liaising with production for
planned downtime. I work closely with production using daily review boards for
issues that can be dealt with within 24hrs.
As part of my job is to manage the engineering KPI's to understand breakdown
time with that information I can organise the engineering team to get ppm done
and react to work towards a proactive approach.
As engineering team leader is to bring forward new practices which include 5S ‘s
& continuous improvements.
Hovis bakery-Bradford Sept 2014-Feburary 2015
I was Engineering FLM at Hovis in Bradford in charge of 16 shift engineers made
up of 8 mechanical and 8 electrical on a four on four off rota and 8 day Engineers.
I also oversee a maintenance planner, an electrical duty holder and a PLC
programmer. I use a sap time management system to manage the engineers in time
keeping, absenteeism sickness in conjunction with the HR department.
I do engineers Employers development reviews to assess what is required to
improve our engineering capabilities.
My duties including organising general running of the bakery on a reactive mode
but also working with my maintenance planning issuing a ppm schedule on a
Idhammer CMMS to be around allocated down time given, also included are
keeping KPI’s of ppm’s, also included in my duties is to organise and oversee
contractors for planned work and issuing of permits to work and Inducting
contractors where needed. I authorise parts ordered for site and contractor
attending site to doing work on site.
My main function is to attend daily meetings to find out general problems of the
running of the plant and organise a plan of attack to combat the issues.

I was employed at Morrison’s bakery as an Assistant engineering manager
Where I am in charge in a team of multi skilled engineers
I organise breakdown cover daily
And, organise a ppm system on a weekly /monthly basis using Front line CMMS
/shire
As part of my job is to manage the engineering kip’s to understand breakdown
time with that information I can organise the engineering team to get ppm done
and react to work towards a proactive approach.
I manage the engineering budget and keep it track of the engineer spends using the
front line sage system.
Key Achievements
I am also involved in various projects, one been a production awareness to
increase production and reduce waste, this project was Called Bulls eye and
it created an annual profit increase of £1.8million.
