2. Style sheet
I’m thinking of using a gold font for my main title of
the magazine, so it stands out, it also makes me think
about the Oscars and how that’s also made out of
gold.
On my front cover I want to include movie
film tape and place images of the movies
inside them, I think this get the attention of
the reader if they spot a film they like
inside it.
For my front cover background I
want it to be eye catching but not
so much that it will take the
readers attention off the
characters I’m including in my
cover so it’s subtle and the colors
don’t clash with each other.
3. In my double page I’m thinking of having one
page a picture of movies and then quotes from
the movies next to it.
I’m also going to include
images from the top 10
movies of 2019 and I’m going
to list them of.
For the background I’m going to have
black, but there will be images inside so
it doesn’t look boring and the font of
writing will be white, which I prefer black
background against white writing
compared to white background and black
writing. I think it just stands out more.
On my main page I’m going to
include a list of the top 10
movies and then I’ll go in more
detail about them from there.
4. Front Cover Layout
For the title I’ve used the gold font to
make my magazine name stand out.
I’ve included text about what will be in the
magazine so the reader knows what’s
inside.
I’ve used the joker as a main image in my
mock one, when it comes to my final
product I will use my own image.
I’ve used images from other movies as
well to interest the reader.
This is the basic design of how I want my cover to turn out, the main
thing I’ll change are the images.

6. Content
Content How You Could Get It
Pictures from movies Download them from the internet.
My own picture for the cover Take a picture of someone sat in a chair eating
popcorn for my front cover.
Title font Use the golden font I recorded d=from my
experiment and use it on my title.
Information for my article Use sources of the internet and write about my topic
in the article, also watch some videos as well as
sources
Background Use the same colour background for the front cover
and the double page, designed on photoshop.
Article font Use the same fonts for my article from InDesign.
Front cover images Download some movie posters off the internet, add
my own picture as the main image and the movie
posters will surround the main image.
7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Adobe could stop working before completing
production.
Make sure I have a full plan of what I want to
do, and make sure I’ve completed my power
points, so when it starts working again I know
exactly what I want to do and I’m not behind on
anything else.
My work doesn’t save and I lose my work Make sure to backup my work on more than
one thing such as I could save it to my memory
stick and computer so if I lose it on one I have it
on the other.
I don’t complete my work on time Use study days to make sure I’m up to date
with my work and do what I can at home.
My project isn’t how I want it to turn out If I run out of time and it’s not how I want it
hand it in anyway and write about it in the
evaluation, if there is time to change it then
change small details so I’m not starting it again
and I run out of time.
I don’t write enough for my article Write the article before I start production and
make sure it has enough words then add it to
the magazine.
I can’t get the images I want for my article save the images before production that way I
have them ready or find other images instead.
8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
When taking my own picture in the studio
someone could trip over the wires
Make sure trip wires are put to the side so no
one trips over them when taking the
photoshoot.
Water could spill on the computers and
someone could be electrocuted
Make sure to have no liquid near the computer
when doing production.
Leaving one of the studio lights on, it could get
too hot and burst
Make sure the lights are on only when needed
and turn them off when I’m not using them.
The camera could fall over and smash. Make sure the camera is secured on a tripod
and the tripod is standing right, if not using the
tripod have the camera around my neck and
don’t leave it on the edge of anything.
The chair in the photoshoot could be dodgy
and when someone sits on it could break
make sure the chair is safe to sit on and the
legs are secure on it.
water could spill on the camera and break it Make sure not to drink anything near the
technical equipment.
