Main area of activity:
I will be using Film to create a trailer and graphic design to show advertisement for the product.
Rationale:
Through this year I have made a music video, a scary story, a poster/magazine and animation. I
managed to acquire skills like being able to create an animation with pixels, creating certain
images in photoshop by using photoshop skills and tools, and being able to create a video. I will
use these skills buy making my shots look different to how they were when I originally took them.
My previous product was a music video, this will have direct impact on my project as I now have
strong knowledge on how to edit videos and what to do and not to do when filming my shots of film
for my final product
Project Concept:
The concept for this project is for me to create a trailer and poster that will be based on a female
who takes pills to help with her health, but with these pills she is unable to see what is real or fake,
and she believes that someone is out to kill her, but she doesn’t know who, she frequently sees
someone watching her but when she looks back they disappear, and every time they try to attack
her friend shows up. The genre will be psychological thriller/ horror. Some research that I will need
to conduct to help my project will be finding existing work that is similar and comparing it to my
ideas, this will help me to come up with more ideas for my work and to give me a stronger idea of
how I will create my piece of work, I will also research different effects and techniques to use when
filming to make it look realistic and professional, I will also research certain music to use for my
final product to make it seem more like a trailer than just a short video this will help to make my
work look professional and up to standards.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
I plan to evaluate and review my work by writing my process weekly/daily about what I did, how it
went, how can I improve and how I think I did well. This will help me to constantly improve on my
work weekly or daily and will show me wear my improvement is needed.
