Chevonne Agana is an Occupational Psychologist and Head of Training at Beyond Consulting. She specializes in training, psychometric assessments and Assessment/Development Centers. She holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of the West Indies and a MSc. in Work and Organisational Psychology from the University of Nottingham, U.K. Additionally, she works as a lecturer in psychology at COSTAATT and is involved in course and curriculum development for the BSc. in Psychology program. In her spare time, she volunteers with Soroptimist International Newtown, where she previously served as President.

Chevonne isalsoafull-timelecturerinPsychologyatthe Collegeof Science Technology andApplied Arts
of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT). She is also involved in Course and Curriculum Development
specifically gearedtowardsthe BSc. inPsychology. She holdsaBSc. (Hons.) inPsychologywithaminorin
Sociology (University of the West Indies 2005) and a MSc. in Work and Organisational Psychology
(Universityof Nottingham,U.K. 2007). Her experience at COSTAATT has found her working with a wide
cross sectionof studentbackgroundsincluding the mature,academicallyunderprepared,high academic
achievers and students with a background in the protective services (Defence Force, Police Service,
Coast Guard and Fire Services. – put Coast Guard if you ever had any) just to name a few.
Additionally, through Beyond Consulting, she is a trainer/facilitator with Hemsley Fraser- an
international TrainingProvider,todelivercoursesonPerformance Management for their clients locally
(which includes the Energy Sector).
Prior to her role at Beyond Consulting Chevonne worked at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of
Business as an Assessment Associate. Here she managed the assessment portfolio, which included
assessments for recruitment, training and personal development. She has done extensive work in
psychometrics, and has also worked extensively in a Development Centre environment. She has
experience both locally and regionally (including projects in Guyana, Dominica, St. Lucia etc.) and is
dedicated to the objective use of assessments.
Outside of herprofessional experience she isinvolvedinvolunteeringthroughSoroptimistInternational
Newtown. She holds the position of Immediate Past President and is able to display her passion for
youthand particularlyherdesire to better the lives of women and girls. Chevonne has a true desire to
be involvedwithyouthandalwaysseeksopportunitiestobe apart of programmes which allow for this.
