Our teaser trailer
The purpose of our teaser trailer is to promote our film
without giving too much information about the plot so that
the audience is left intrigued and wanting to watch the
film. The audience will read and interpret the media
language used in our teaser trailer in order to understand
that it is a film trailer as well as to determine what genre
the film is, as well as to decide whether they would or
would not like to watch the film.
Semiotics
Semiotics is the study of SIGNS (and the role of signs in
social life). Signs can take the form of
words, images, sounds, objects, acts or flavours but
these don’t have an specific one meaning and become
signs when we put meaning into them.
             Saussure summerised it in this equation;
The sign= the signifier + signified
    - A ‘signifier’- the form which the sign takes; and
        - - The ‘signified’- the concept it represented

Conclusion
We used media language very successfully in our
teaser trailer because it got across our intended
message, as proven though the responses we
gained from our audience research and has
        appealed to our target audience.
