applications as well as designed and wrote customized programs
for many different applications. I designed AR and AP data model
applications to convert data into the JDE One World environment.
Heavy system security, strong system control rules and change
management tools were used to meet auditing control requirement.
I had worked for Weatherford two previous times in a contractor
roll. The last position was as a full time employee.
C A Townsend (DBA) - Houston,Texas (03/05 -- 05/05) Direct Contract
This short term project required developing a Web-Sphere message
queue application to pass data between AS400’s and a mainframe.
Work was written in RPG/ILE and CLP.
C A Townsend (DBA) - Houston,Texas (07/02 -- 01/04) Direct Contract
As a consultant, I developed new processes to convert AR systems
for Weatherford from both system based datasets and Excel spread
sheets into JDE One World.
Goodman Manufacturing - Houston,Texas (12/00 -- 01/02) Full Time
As a Sr. Project Leader, I merged satellite branch operations
for 89 branches, contained on 11 AS400s, into a single database
used for Sales History, Inventory Control reporting. I also was
able to design a Rebate Tracking System used for tracking sales
commissions based on various commission plans I was the Branch
Systems Operations Mgr. as second in command.
Charles A.Townsend & Associates – Houston and Austin,Texas (11/88 -09/00)
I had performed both contracting and sub-contracting roles over
the past 12 years, (see positions listed below.) Each specific
position is listed to describe the detail behind the work
performed. A majority of the work was performed on AS400s using
RPGIII, RPG/IV and RPGILE.
Harrison Personnel,Inc. - Houston,Texas (08/00 -- 09/00) Sub-Contract

Y2k compliance. RPGIV/OPM.
Robert Half Consulting - Houston,Texas (08/97 – 02/99) Sub-Contract
This contract supported software modifications required for Y2k
compliance. Additionally, I developed a utility to dynamically
change source code on a global level, saving extra man hours
needed to make these same modifications. RPGIV/OPM.
A previous RHI contract required programming to satisfy State
requirement for FQHC reporting for an insurance company. RPGIV.
