CARRIER SUMMARY
 Preparing Z-type azimuth thrusters fixed pitch propeller for starting and manually starting it from
the Engine room.
 Manually starting of main engines and connecting to the 480 switchboard for power sharing.
 Preparing Retractable Azimuth Thruster for lowering.
 Removal of fuel oil injectors from Cummins QSK60 for servicing.
 Routine maintenance of fuel oil purifier (cleaning of gravity disc, bowl and changing of oil in the
crankcase.)
 Starting of Oily Water Separator, routine testing and maintenance.
 Assist in changing of Mechanical Seal on main engine.
 Cleaning of plate cooler for main engine and central cooling systems.
 Routine maintenance on main engines (changing of Lubricating oil and replacing it with fresh one,
changing of fuel oil filters, lub oil filters and manually cleaning of Centrifugal purifier of lub oil.)
 Connecting of holes for bunkering of Fuel oil, Fresh water, Liquid Mud, Dry bulk cargo, such as
Cement, Barite and Lime. Setting the line for loading and discharging of the produces above.
 Changing of butterfly Valves, size 250, 10’’ on liquid mud system, fixing of Todo couplings on
manifolds. Changing of mechanical seals on centrifugal pumps.
 Assist in overhauling of AC Compressor W60-187Y, collecting of Refrigerant and charging.
 Isolation of motors for servicing.
 Daily engine room work such as emptying bilges wells, internal transfer of fuel oil to settling tanks,
fresh water transfer to potable water tanks and Watch Keeping.
