Case Study Of Tailored Tops
I am Kit Parsons and the trainee administrator here at Tailored Tops. I have been asked by my office manager here at Tailored Tops to research
items that can be given away to visitors at our stand at the NEC exhibition. I have been asked to find promotional materials that can be given away
at our stand to help people remember Tailored Tops. There are certain things that we (Tailored Tops) won't be able to give away and those are pens,
sweets and mugs. We cannot use them because they have been given away at other exhibitions recently and Tailored Tops, being the unique and top
quality business wants to use different promotional material so it is more memorable. I have been asked to try and find things that a sports club could
possibly relate to, or just something aimed at sports clubs....show more content...
Tailored Tops is a business that is fantastic at managing their finances and I have been given a budget of up to ВЈ4,500 to spend on promotional
material, so since 1500 items are required there is a maximum of ВЈ3.00 per item. I will be using the internet (Google) to do my research and try to get
what I want at the best possible price for my employees Tailored

Admirable Character
The Tailor is a character in "Seven in one Blow", a smart man using his surroundings to his advantage his goals. First, he trapped a boar by using a
shack of a house. Then he killed two giants with stones. Finally, he got his prize but guilt came along with it. The Tailor is a dishonest man cheating
his way to get what he wants. Tailor is nothing but a boastful man. First he did notkill any giant in one blow instead he killed seven flies in one blow.
Not only did he lie to the people he lied to the king and the worst thing about it the king believed it and gave his daughter and half of his kingdom.
The Tailor is a dishonest, cheater and not a man of character.
All the tailor wants is to praise men and he will do anything

Therapeutic Use Of Self Essay
Therapeutic use of self involves using one's personality, body language, active listening that is used to create and maintain a therapeutic relationship
with others (Lowe et al., 2007). Establishing trust is also an important aspect of therapeutic use of self, to address the needs and goals of the client,
which helps our scope of practice to remain client–centered. Using therapeutic use of self is beneficial for occupational therapists (OT), as it
facilitates interaction with the client. It also encourages and allows the therapist to obtain necessary information, and to alleviate fear or anxiety that
may take place during treatment session. During Level I Fieldwork at a SNF, I was able to apply these principles during a treatment session for a
client diagnosed with dementia that was agitated and non–compliant with the activity. To divert her attention to the activity, and to get her to

The OT will administer the Falls Efficacy Scale (FES) Assessment Tool with Phyllis before she returns home to help write discharge
recommendations. Using AIDET communication the OT would begin treatment by knocking on the patient's door and ask, "May I enter?" Once
the patient responds with "Yes", the OT may enter the room. If the bed was low the OT could kneel down to the level of the bed to sustain
appropriate eye contact. Next, while smiling the OT would introduce themselves to the patient by saying, "Good morning Phyllis. My name is
Alissa, and I will be the occupational therapist working with you today." The OT should smile and reach to shake Phyllis' hand. The OT should also
ask, "Are you familiar with what an OT does?" If not, they should give a quick elevator speech about the profession. The OT should also say, "The
questionnaire will take less than 5 minutes, and the nurse said she would be bringing in your next dose of pain medication within the next 10

Craig Hilton-Tailor's Assumptions
Regarding the information you shared with us regarding Assumptions...
""The need for continuing intervention, even for recovered species, was not anticipated. We now face the conundrum that building on our conservation
success will require long term investments" (Taylor, 2014). Craig Hilton–Tailor's assumptions, or rather, hope; is that people will listen due to the
compilation of copious scholarly studies reflecting the truisms of the past. "The overwhelming message from the results presented...is that the world is
losing species and that the rate of loss appears to be accelerating in many taxonomic groups...but there are many case studies which show that
well–focused and concerted species–centered actions can succeed in regarding threats and improving the conservation status of species and their
habitats" (Taylor, 2014). "

And it is precisely because of nature's unpredictability that we must be careful in how we approach such efforts. We're already struggling with how
mankind has polluted our rivers. And, if commercial fishing continues without careful monitoring, we could end up in a state of aquatic emergency.
Also, the deliberate introduction of invasive species can be detrimental to marine life. Take for example, the introduction of predatory fish like the black
bass. The species was brought to the Fynbos Rivers in South Africa with the purpose to improve their conditions. The result was that they spread like
wildfire and ate their way through their fish population, leaving aquatic deserts in their wake. We must be careful in not to endanger what took nature

Professional Quality Tailor
Finding a professional quality tailor, is something which is important to do if you wish to be able to buy clothes at affordable prices and then have
them look like they cost a fortune. Normally, when you buy something from the store which is off the rack and not bespoke for your body, you will
find that the fit just isn't quite right. You will either have it too long in the arms which means that you won't be able to have your shirt cuffs showing.
If you don't have your shirt cuffs showing then you will not have that look which is really stylish and flashy and looks like James Bond.
Also you will not have the right fit in the body of the jacket if you buy from the store and just get something off the rack. The good thing about
buying off the rack is that you will be able to save a great deal off of having a suit custom made for you. The bad thing is that it will look like you
bought it off the rack! Therefore, to get the best of both worlds you could choose to buy something off the rack and then have your tailor custom fit the
apparel to your body....show more content...
Also you should check and ensure that the fit is exactly how you want it to be. If you are buying a suit jacket or a blazer, as mentioned earlier in
the, then you would want to aim for having the jacket fit your body tightly around the midriff. You don't want it to be too tight, however, and you
should have the ability to cross your arms in front with the jacket still having a small amount of fabric left to give in the back. If you get it just right,
then you will have a tight tapered look around the midriff area which will give you that stylish look that all the celebrities

Creative Play Observation
During my observation, I could perceive that use of material in creative format satisfy their cognitive and social development during their imagination
in play. The lead teacher helps to build their confidence with their experiences with others. The creative format helps children to discover and
understand about their environment. I can see that when children are in an imaginative play, they are using different materials, they can express
themselves verbally and non–verbal. They also act, interact, react, and pretend different roles.
The lead teacher expands the children learning abilities when they receive opportunities to participate in creative play with costumes, cooking utensils,
vehicles, tools, blocks, rocks, dolls, cardboard, bags...show more content...
This contribute to a verbal interactive activity and can inspire and nurture creative minds. At the same time, these activities build vocabulary and help
to the children learn phonics. I could hear children singing the wheels on the bus during they pretend to play that they are in the bus. It was very
curious see the children pretending be the driver, the parents, the baby and the people. The girl who pretend to be the mother use a purse and
necklace. I told her "you look beautiful, I like how you dress yourself" she told me "my mommy dress always beautiful.
Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." Imagination is the door to possibilities. It is where creativity, ingenuity, and thinking
outside the box begin for child development.
Reflection: Teacher need stimulate cognitive and social development by imagination play. Imagination play contribute to children to their intellectual
and social–emotional potential. They ca use their critical thinking skills and creative problem–solving abilities which are goals for children's
development. Teacher has to give opportunities to children for imagine, trying new ways of doing things, and to experiment. Imagination and creativity

Compare And Contrast Traditional Teaching Styles
No teachers are similar as well as no students learn in the same way. Every teacher has their own unique teaching style which is based on their
educational philosophy, their classroom's demographic, what subject area they teach, and the school's mission statement. Up until now, teachers are
looking for a system that will engage students in the educational process and will develop the students' critical thinking skills. Moreover, teachers want
the classroom to be in order and in control, but they also want their students to appreciate the learning procedure. These teaching styles can be divided
into two approaches – the teacher–centered and learner–centered.
Traditional teaching styles use teacher–centered approach. It includes a teacher that stands at the front and tells students step by step instructions. The
teacher decides what is learned, when it is learned, how it is learned, and how learning is evaluated. In a nutshell, the teacher is an information giver
and evaluator. The students are just there to learn through lessons and direct instructions. Their attention is mainly focused on passing tests,
assessments, and evaluations.
Through the years, many successful people have came from the traditional setting. The earliest recorded occurrence of education proved that people
learned in a...show more content...
Students are placed in the responsibility of their own learning and understanding while the teachers encourage students to be more independent and
more exploratory. The teachers will foster a sense of autonomy in the learning process as they act as a source of experiences. In addition, as the
students watch their teacher makes mistakes, they will learn those failures are part of the learning process. The students will soon realize that mistakes
are natural in life and it will serve as stepping stones to

Example Of A Theoretical Orientation Paper
The way the concept theoretical orientation relates to me being a student studying Social Work I have been introduced to theories that offer
understandings to help to assist clients with their problems. Theories are basic guiding tools to help practitioners to interact with our clients and to
help shape our professional identity. The approach that I am most interested in is the Decisional model, Loge therapy, and person centered
Counseling. Decisional Counseling process makes decisions by assisting the client by defining problem, Generating alternative problems and
assisting the client with taking action .Loge Therapy is the process that assists the client with finding their purpose this will assist clients to be able
to undergo any hardships that they may encounter. Person Centered Counseling is the process that the client is in control of what they want to do as
a practitioner we facilitate the process. The way I will start to build my competence using the uses of theories are inside of my practicum. My field
placement is at The Boys& Girls Club I believe that the Decisional Counseling approach will be useful because of the services the Boys & Girls Club
provide for the youth so that can be successful. There has numerous situations when students received consequences because of their negative behavior.
Using this method I could try to get...show more content...

How My Writing Has Improved
After this semester of English 102, at Bristol Community College I feel that I have gained the skill to articulate what I want to convey to the
reader in many ways. I don't just look at grammatical error, but instead I look for ways to make my sentences more effective and concise.
Nevertheless, I hope that this strategy will continue to help me improve my writing even further on in the future. My strong points as a reader
have also definitely improved after reading the poems and stories we experienced this semester. Writing has been an important form of expression
for me. I find myself to be very soft spoken and speaking verbally is usually difficult for me because I can't always seem to find the right words to
say. I feel that I am more expressive and have more control over what I want to say. While this semester progressed toward its end, I have learned
new writing skills and gradually learned how to engage with audiences. This skill was very useful in meeting my course goals in English 102. I
believe that I have grown at organization and careful stream my thoughts as well. Before I would just begin writing my papers without any plans or
organization, along with no definite idea of where I would be going with the assignments, but throughout this course I've learned that you should base
your paper around your thesis statement. Another skill I took from this class was to value my classmate's responses, from their reactions made me
much more aware that my main ideas

Reflection On Theories Of Counseling
This quarter's course of "theories of counseling" felt like a whirlwind of theories, theorist, therapeutic techniques, and proper application of
theoretical framework to help counsel students. As the course continued each new theory and therapy style I learned about seemed more
appealing and useful than the last. In deciding which therapy styles I would favor using I have to take into account the general demographic of
the students and communities I wish to work in. I plan to work with middle school to high school students that are from urban low social economic
status and are recent arrivals to the country. Some of the characteristics of obstacles these students and families face daily are, single parent home
/income, past/recent trauma, history of low family education level and legal trouble. I am fortunate to live in the community and society I want to
help and that I have grown up in. I am equally blessed to be raised and have the opportunity to give back to my community and society the best way
I know how by giving back in a positive manner. The first theorist I will mention is Alfred Adler, who prompted awareness to mental health in
school children. Corey addresses the goal of Adlerian therapy, "The aim of therapy is to develop the client's sense of belonging and to assist in the
adoption of behaviors and processes characterized by community feeling and social interest." (p. 109) The key component in Adlerian therapy in a
school counselor role is to build rapport,

Counseling Theory And Theory Of Counseling Essay
As a counseling student, it is very important to formulate a counseling theory tailored to ones' own personality and beliefs. A counselor may choose a
single theory to model when practicing therapy or pick and choose components and techniques from various theories, otherwise known as eclecticism.
No theory is considered right or wrong. Understanding the different therapeutic approaches are important to effective counseling, however, counselors
must also understand their own personal value, view of human nature, human behavior, counseling techniques and the purpose and goals of counseling.
Understanding these components along with the different theoretical approaches will provide the counselor with a 9 knowledge of their own
counseling, orientation and is essential to not only the productivity of counseling but the growth of the counselor as well. View of Human Nature My
theoretical orientation gravitates strongly toward a humanistic and goal oriented theory of counseling. I agree with the Freudian psycho–analysis
approach in that development happens within the first six years of life and these experiences are what influence our present behavior, however, it is
my belief that human behavior is motivated through our conscious and all behavior is goal–oriented and has a desired result. Our social environment
and past experiences are what strongly enhances our behavior and the decisions that we make. With this is mind, it is understood that we are in control
of our actions,

Reflection On Eportfolio
Welcome to my eportfolio, here you will find an in–depth analysis about my WOVE experiences in English250. By creating my eportfolio I have
learned my weaknesses and strengths within my written, oral, visual, and electronic communication modes. When you begin exploring my portfolio, I
will be sharing with you on how I have grown within the WOVE areas this semester.
Here is a brief overview of what you can find on my eportfolio. The menu section that is located at the top of the website can be easily used to
navigate my introductory, about me, WOVE, reflection, and closing pages. These pages can also be easily accessed on the contents which is located
at the top right side of each page. The WOVE page has a drop–down box menu that contains my written communication, and OVE communication
modes. Also, the reflection page has a drop–down box menu that contains my reflection on my written revision, reflection on OVE artifact, and Special
reflection about E. The closing page will contain my final closing reflection and my about me page, will personally tell you more about myself.
My composing techniques have slightly changed since I began this course, I learned the important aspects of using a rough draft. At the beginning of
this semester I would spend more time writing down my thoughts on a paper then organizing my thoughts within the rough draft. I learned that it is
ineffective for me to just write down my ideas on a paper with no purpose because I tend to jumble my words. By

Example Of Adlerian Therapy
Adlerian therapy can be a useful approach in the case of Stan to help his address the many issues that he faces in his life. This therapy focuses on
helping Stan, to achieve success in life by examining feelings of inferiority that result in negative behaviors, but in the right setting can help motivate
him to strive for greater success. Adlerian therapy will help Stan focus on the development of his individual personality and the relation to
understanding and accepting of the interconnectedness of all human beings. The counseling style of Adlerian therapy is based on creating a positive
therapeutic relationship. Establishing this relationship with Stan, is created in the initial phase. "A positive relationship is created by listening,...show

He is afraid to get close to people because he is afraid they will leave him. In addition, he feels that if he becomes perfect people with love and accept
him more. These feelings have caused to have faulty conclusions about his life and self–defeating perceptions. I can identify with one of Stan's faulty
thinking patterns from the perspective drawing the same conclusions not being perfect. I believe in society we are taught that we need to strive for
perfection in our relationships, employment, and education to have a successful life. However, we don't live in a perfect world, and these things don't
always end up being successful. Therefore, we become hurt or disappointed and have those feelings of being unworthy. In Adlerian therapy, its
important to identify, and accept how a person feels. With identifying how a person feels can help produce change within a client. "Adlerian therapists
consider insight as a special of awareness that facilitates a meaningful understanding within the therapeutic relationship and acts as foundation for
change. (Corey, G. 2017, p.113). I feel that in Stan' therapy it can be useful to understand how he feel by relating to his personal experiences. This can
help relationship grow and increase the effectiveness between Stan and his

Taylorism is a concept made by Fredrick Taylor. He developed principles to increase efficiency in the work place.for example; by analyzing each task

The Benefits Of Tailored Mentoring
Introduction
Mentoring is an excellent way to teach students about any subject. Whether it's math, science, social studies, art, or literature, being a mentor is a
satisfying feeling. For a mentee who struggles with particular subjects, they might want to consider getting a mentor. The biggest challenge is having a
student that is gifted can be a frustrating and counterproductive use of time. Science and psychologists have studied effective ways to teach gifted
students through tailored mentoring programs. They have shown to be successful, but there are a lot of questions why it is so successful. Finding the
answers is beneficial to both the mentor and the mentee, so they're on the same page.
What is Tailored Peer Mentoring?
Tailored peer mentoring is a program that is designed to help a gifted student learn, based on their needs. Depending on what the student needs, the
mentorship should teach in a certain manner so the gifted student understands. While it is not a common form of mentorship, tailoring a program based
on the student has started to gain traction. It's well known that not everyone learns at the same rate, but by forming a program that will help them learn
at their own pace. It's important that a mentor shows patience and knows how to work with different gifted...show more content...
It could be that the mentor is explaining things in a way that a gifted student understands the material. Perhaps the mentor makes the gifted student feel
more comfortable and asking more insightful questions about the material. Considering there are four effective learning processes, perhaps a mentor is
better at teaching those "Big Four" learning processes. Students who do receive tailored peer mentoring have a chance to learn subjects at their own
pace, instead of trying to keep up with the rest of the class, which can also be a factor in the success

Great Post Tailor
Great post Tailor. I also thought this quote was powerful "At what point is the quality of life no longer worth the emotional and physical cost of
maintaining it" (Berhagen and Kaldhusdal 2011). Most times when a loved one is sick, family members tends to do more harm than good due to
guilt, they hold on to hope and pray for a miracle, even when they know the patient is suffering. For example, in Selena's case, the daughter refused
to take her off life support, even when her uncles told the doctor that Selena has mentioned not wanting to live that (Krauss 2016). I believed we feel
like a burden because we know it is also hard on the caregiver, he or she have to care for the patient's needs, also their mental, emotional and spiritual
needs (DeSpelder

Library Essay
Libraries are an essential part of the community. However not all societies have libraries. Libraries require centralized populations, economic
development and political stability for their survival. Libraries exist in places where peace exists. They cannot exist in places with full of conflicts.
Libraries have different missions and serve different communities differently. People and organizations establish libraries with different missions.
Historical overview shows that libraries have always had missions.
The earliest mission of libraries was to maintain an archive for records. There is not information that shows when the first library was established. In the
past, temples, municipals and governments had libraries. These libraries...show more content...
Therefore, Julius Caesar started building a public library, but died before he completed it. Asinius Pollio completed the library. This established was
followed by more public libraries. Other missions of libraries that existed in the past included maintaining scholarly mission, religious mission, for
instance, monastic libraries of middles ages, educational mission, for instance university, humanistic mission and promoting national pride (Rubin 39).
In the modern world, libraries have certain missions that they serve. The establishment of the printing press made more books available to many
people. This encouraged the establishment of more libraries. In the United States of America, libraries came up with new missions. First, libraries
emerged with the mission of self–improvement. Advances in mechanical technology in the eighteenth century led to industrial revolution that
improved the economy and community health. This meant that a certain class of citizens had more leisure time, for self–improvement. This favored
the emergence o f new libraries. The social library emerged with an aim of helping individuals improve through the search of truth. Therefore, they
provided literature and books that provided information, which could help people to gain knowledge and improve their character. In the current world,
libraries provide information that people have access to, and use it for their own improvement (Rubin 47).
Secondly, the modern world

Why measure personality?
Personality testing has been used throughout history to measure how a person will respond, perform, or integrate in certain situations and incidents.
Companies around the world use some type of personality assessment to either promote or hire individuals within their organization. The military uses a

Case Study Of Tailored Tops

  • 1. Case Study Of Tailored Tops I am Kit Parsons and the trainee administrator here at Tailored Tops. I have been asked by my office manager here at Tailored Tops to research items that can be given away to visitors at our stand at the NEC exhibition. I have been asked to find promotional materials that can be given away at our stand to help people remember Tailored Tops. There are certain things that we (Tailored Tops) won't be able to give away and those are pens, sweets and mugs. We cannot use them because they have been given away at other exhibitions recently and Tailored Tops, being the unique and top quality business wants to use different promotional material so it is more memorable. I have been asked to try and find things that a sports club could possibly relate to, or just something aimed at sports clubs....show more content... Tailored Tops is a business that is fantastic at managing their finances and I have been given a budget of up to ВЈ4,500 to spend on promotional material, so since 1500 items are required there is a maximum of ВЈ3.00 per item. I will be using the internet (Google) to do my research and try to get what I want at the best possible price for my employees Tailored Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Admirable Character The Tailor is a character in "Seven in one Blow", a smart man using his surroundings to his advantage his goals. First, he trapped a boar by using a shack of a house. Then he killed two giants with stones. Finally, he got his prize but guilt came along with it. The Tailor is a dishonest man cheating his way to get what he wants. All the tailor wants is to praise men and he will do anything Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Therapeutic Use Of Self Essay Therapeutic use of self involves using one's personality, body language, active listening that is used to create and maintain a therapeutic relationship with others (Lowe et al., 2007). Establishing trust is also an important aspect of therapeutic use of self, to address the needs and goals of the client, which helps our scope of practice to remain client–centered. Using therapeutic use of self is beneficial for occupational therapists (OT), as it facilitates interaction with the client. It also encourages and allows the therapist to obtain necessary information, and to alleviate fear or anxiety that may take place during treatment session. During Level I Fieldwork at a SNF, I was able to apply these principles during a treatment session for a client diagnosed with dementia that was agitated and non–compliant with the activity. To divert her attention to the activity, and to get her to understand that I was...show more content... The OT will administer the Falls Efficacy Scale (FES) Assessment Tool with Phyllis before she returns home to help write discharge recommendations. Using AIDET communication the OT would begin treatment by knocking on the patient's door and ask, "May I enter?" Once the patient responds with "Yes", the OT may enter the room. If the bed was low the OT could kneel down to the level of the bed to sustain appropriate eye contact. Next, while smiling the OT would introduce themselves to the patient by saying, "Good morning Phyllis. My name is Alissa, and I will be the occupational therapist working with you today." The OT should smile and reach to shake Phyllis' hand. The OT should also ask, "Are you familiar with what an OT does?" If not, they should give a quick elevator speech about the profession. The OT should also say, "The questionnaire will take less than 5 minutes, and the nurse said she would be bringing in your next dose of pain medication within the next 10 Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Craig Hilton-Tailor's Assumptions Regarding the information you shared with us regarding Assumptions... ""The need for continuing intervention, even for recovered species, was not anticipated. We now face the conundrum that building on our conservation success will require long term investments" (Taylor, 2014). Craig Hilton–Tailor's assumptions, or rather, hope; is that people will listen due to the compilation of copious scholarly studies reflecting the truisms of the past. "The overwhelming message from the results presented...is that the world is losing species and that the rate of loss appears to be accelerating in many taxonomic groups...but there are many case studies which show that well–focused and concerted species–centered actions can succeed in regarding threats and improving the conservation status of species and their habitats" (Taylor, 2014). " I am on the fence on this one....show more content... And it is precisely because of nature's unpredictability that we must be careful in how we approach such efforts. We're already struggling with how mankind has polluted our rivers. And, if commercial fishing continues without careful monitoring, we could end up in a state of aquatic emergency. Also, the deliberate introduction of invasive species can be detrimental to marine life. Take for example, the introduction of predatory fish like the black bass. The species was brought to the Fynbos Rivers in South Africa with the purpose to improve their conditions. The result was that they spread like wildfire and ate their way through their fish population, leaving aquatic deserts in their wake. We must be careful in not to endanger what took nature centuries to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Professional Quality Tailor Finding a professional quality tailor, is something which is important to do if you wish to be able to buy clothes at affordable prices and then have them look like they cost a fortune. Normally, when you buy something from the store which is off the rack and not bespoke for your body, you will find that the fit just isn't quite right. The good thing about buying off the rack is that you will be able to save a great deal off of having a suit custom made for you. The bad thing is that it will look like you bought it off the rack! Therefore, to get the best of both worlds you could choose to buy something off the rack and then have your tailor custom fit the apparel to your body....show more content... Also you should check and ensure that the fit is exactly how you want it to be. If you are buying a suit jacket or a blazer, as mentioned earlier in the, then you would want to aim for having the jacket fit your body tightly around the midriff. You don't want it to be too tight, however, and you should have the ability to cross your arms in front with the jacket still having a small amount of fabric left to give in the back. If you get it just right, then you will have a tight tapered look around the midriff area which will give you that stylish look that all the celebrities Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The lead teacher helps to build their confidence with their experiences with others. The creative format helps children to discover and understand about their environment. I can see that when children are in an imaginative play, they are using different materials, they can express themselves verbally and non–verbal. They also act, interact, react, and pretend different roles. The lead teacher expands the children learning abilities when they receive opportunities to participate in creative play with costumes, cooking utensils, vehicles, tools, blocks, rocks, dolls, cardboard, bags...show more content... • 7. Compare And Contrast Traditional Teaching Styles No teachers are similar as well as no students learn in the same way. Every teacher has their own unique teaching style which is based on their educational philosophy, their classroom's demographic, what subject area they teach, and the school's mission statement. Up until now, teachers are looking for a system that will engage students in the educational process and will develop the students' critical thinking skills. Moreover, teachers want the classroom to be in order and in control, but they also want their students to appreciate the learning procedure. These teaching styles can be divided into two approaches – the teacher–centered and learner–centered. Traditional teaching styles use teacher–centered approach. It includes a teacher that stands at the front and tells students step by step instructions. The teacher decides what is learned, when it is learned, how it is learned, and how learning is evaluated. In a nutshell, the teacher is an information giver and evaluator. The students are just there to learn through lessons and direct instructions. Their attention is mainly focused on passing tests, assessments, and evaluations. Through the years, many successful people have came from the traditional setting. • 8. Example Of A Theoretical Orientation Paper The way the concept theoretical orientation relates to me being a student studying Social Work I have been introduced to theories that offer understandings to help to assist clients with their problems. Theories are basic guiding tools to help practitioners to interact with our clients and to help shape our professional identity. The approach that I am most interested in is the Decisional model, Loge therapy, and person centered Counseling. Decisional Counseling process makes decisions by assisting the client by defining problem, Generating alternative problems and assisting the client with taking action .Loge Therapy is the process that assists the client with finding their purpose this will assist clients to be able to undergo any hardships that they may encounter. Person Centered Counseling is the process that the client is in control of what they want to do as a practitioner we facilitate the process. The way I will start to build my competence using the uses of theories are inside of my practicum. My field placement is at The Boys& Girls Club I believe that the Decisional Counseling approach will be useful because of the services the Boys & Girls Club provide for the youth so that can be successful. • 9. How My Writing Has Improved After this semester of English 102, at Bristol Community College I feel that I have gained the skill to articulate what I want to convey to the reader in many ways. I don't just look at grammatical error, but instead I look for ways to make my sentences more effective and concise. Nevertheless, I hope that this strategy will continue to help me improve my writing even further on in the future. My strong points as a reader have also definitely improved after reading the poems and stories we experienced this semester. Writing has been an important form of expression for me. I find myself to be very soft spoken and speaking verbally is usually difficult for me because I can't always seem to find the right words to say. I feel that I am more expressive and have more control over what I want to say. While this semester progressed toward its end, I have learned new writing skills and gradually learned how to engage with audiences. This skill was very useful in meeting my course goals in English 102. I believe that I have grown at organization and careful stream my thoughts as well. Before I would just begin writing my papers without any plans or organization, along with no definite idea of where I would be going with the assignments, but throughout this course I've learned that you should base your paper around your thesis statement. Another skill I took from this class was to value my classmate's responses, from their reactions made me much more aware that my main ideas Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Reflection On Theories Of Counseling This quarter's course of "theories of counseling" felt like a whirlwind of theories, theorist, therapeutic techniques, and proper application of theoretical framework to help counsel students. As the course continued each new theory and therapy style I learned about seemed more appealing and useful than the last. In deciding which therapy styles I would favor using I have to take into account the general demographic of the students and communities I wish to work in. I plan to work with middle school to high school students that are from urban low social economic status and are recent arrivals to the country. Some of the characteristics of obstacles these students and families face daily are, single parent home /income, past/recent trauma, history of low family education level and legal trouble. I am fortunate to live in the community and society I want to help and that I have grown up in. I am equally blessed to be raised and have the opportunity to give back to my community and society the best way I know how by giving back in a positive manner. The first theorist I will mention is Alfred Adler, who prompted awareness to mental health in school children. Corey addresses the goal of Adlerian therapy, "The aim of therapy is to develop the client's sense of belonging and to assist in the adoption of behaviors and processes characterized by community feeling and social interest." (p. 109) The key component in Adlerian therapy in a school counselor role is to build rapport, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Counseling Theory And Theory Of Counseling Essay As a counseling student, it is very important to formulate a counseling theory tailored to ones' own personality and beliefs. A counselor may choose a single theory to model when practicing therapy or pick and choose components and techniques from various theories, otherwise known as eclecticism. No theory is considered right or wrong. Understanding the different therapeutic approaches are important to effective counseling, however, counselors must also understand their own personal value, view of human nature, human behavior, counseling techniques and the purpose and goals of counseling. Understanding these components along with the different theoretical approaches will provide the counselor with a 9 knowledge of their own counseling, orientation and is essential to not only the productivity of counseling but the growth of the counselor as well. View of Human Nature My theoretical orientation gravitates strongly toward a humanistic and goal oriented theory of counseling. I agree with the Freudian psycho–analysis approach in that development happens within the first six years of life and these experiences are what influence our present behavior, however, it is my belief that human behavior is motivated through our conscious and all behavior is goal–oriented and has a desired result. Our social environment and past experiences are what strongly enhances our behavior and the decisions that we make. With this is mind, it is understood that we are in control of our actions, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Reflection On Eportfolio Welcome to my eportfolio, here you will find an in–depth analysis about my WOVE experiences in English250. By creating my eportfolio I have learned my weaknesses and strengths within my written, oral, visual, and electronic communication modes. When you begin exploring my portfolio, I will be sharing with you on how I have grown within the WOVE areas this semester. Here is a brief overview of what you can find on my eportfolio. The menu section that is located at the top of the website can be easily used to navigate my introductory, about me, WOVE, reflection, and closing pages. These pages can also be easily accessed on the contents which is located at the top right side of each page. The WOVE page has a drop–down box menu that contains my written communication, and OVE communication modes. Also, the reflection page has a drop–down box menu that contains my reflection on my written revision, reflection on OVE artifact, and Special reflection about E. The closing page will contain my final closing reflection and my about me page, will personally tell you more about myself. My composing techniques have slightly changed since I began this course, I learned the important aspects of using a rough draft. At the beginning of this semester I would spend more time writing down my thoughts on a paper then organizing my thoughts within the rough draft. I learned that it is ineffective for me to just write down my ideas on a paper with no purpose because I tend to jumble my words. By Get more content on HelpWriting.net

This therapy focuses on helping Stan, to achieve success in life by examining feelings of inferiority that result in negative behaviors, but in the right setting can help motivate him to strive for greater success. Adlerian therapy will help Stan focus on the development of his individual personality and the relation to understanding and accepting of the interconnectedness of all human beings. The counseling style of Adlerian therapy is based on creating a positive therapeutic relationship. Establishing this relationship with Stan, is created in the initial phase. In addition, he feels that if he becomes perfect people with love and accept him more. These feelings have caused to have faulty conclusions about his life and self–defeating perceptions. I can identify with one of Stan's faulty thinking patterns from the perspective drawing the same conclusions not being perfect. I believe in society we are taught that we need to strive for perfection in our relationships, employment, and education to have a successful life. However, we don't live in a perfect world, and these things don't always end up being successful. Therefore, we become hurt or disappointed and have those feelings of being unworthy. In Adlerian therapy, its important to identify, and accept how a person feels. With identifying how a person feels can help produce change within a client. "Adlerian therapists consider insight as a special of awareness that facilitates a meaningful understanding within the therapeutic relationship and acts as foundation for change. Whether it's math, science, social studies, art, or literature, being a mentor is a satisfying feeling. For a mentee who struggles with particular subjects, they might want to consider getting a mentor. The biggest challenge is having a student that is gifted can be a frustrating and counterproductive use of time. Science and psychologists have studied effective ways to teach gifted students through tailored mentoring programs. They have shown to be successful, but there are a lot of questions why it is so successful. Finding the answers is beneficial to both the mentor and the mentee, so they're on the same page. What is Tailored Peer Mentoring? Tailored peer mentoring is a program that is designed to help a gifted student learn, based on their needs. Depending on what the student needs, the mentorship should teach in a certain manner so the gifted student understands. While it is not a common form of mentorship, tailoring a program based on the student has started to gain traction. Students who do receive tailored peer mentoring have a chance to learn subjects at their own pace, instead of trying to keep up with the rest of the class, which can also be a factor in the success Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Great Post Tailor Great post Tailor. I also thought this quote was powerful "At what point is the quality of life no longer worth the emotional and physical cost of maintaining it" (Berhagen and Kaldhusdal 2011). Most times when a loved one is sick, family members tends to do more harm than good due to guilt, they hold on to hope and pray for a miracle, even when they know the patient is suffering. Before doing this project, I really didn't know how to format a resumГ©, nor did I fully know what went into it.
