Lead Engineer (Test Development team)
Philips Lumileds is the pioneer in manufacturing solid state lighting such as the LED backlight, LED
flash in camera phone, LED illuminations and automotives lighting.
Job scope:
 Experienced in development of new test platform for new product and transferring to production.
Responsible to coordinate with process & maintenance engineer to ensure smooth transfer of new
test platform
 Drive process improvement to decrease test time and increase tester PPH; Validate test reliability
to improve test yield by working with QA & Product Engineer.
 Worked closely with machine vendors to standardize SOP for calibration and maintenance
procedure on similar tester worldwide.
 Knowledgeable in process documentation and is responsible to train engineers & technician on
new test platform during new product transfer.
 Shows good leadership quality and is responsible for a small team of 5 people compromising of
engineers and technician. Ensure daily routine is completed smoothly and drive each individual in
the team towards a common department goal.
 Experienced in subcontractor management, responsible on test platform development in
subcontractor site and ensuring SOP meets Phillip’s requirements.
Main projects/Achievements:
1. Project Lead in new supplier qualification. Responsible to develop and qualify Flip Chip LED
technology. Tasked to consult and drive Flip Chip LED technology implementation at different
supplier sites to avoid single source
2. Develop and qualify new flash module tester to check intensity and uniformity of new flash
technology. Responsible to transfer and qualify new process at subcontractor site.
3. NPI project mainly responsible for Test Process Qualification at subcontractor site in Thailand.
Based on Thailand for two weeks to qualify, tool up and train subcontractor personal to meet
Phillips requirements.
4. Implemented new test methodology to effectively screen out defective LEDs which escaped
electrical screening for automotive product.
5. Project lead in developing non-destructive calibration method on new tester platform in plant cost
saving project and reduce lead time for calibration to allow increase in tester efficiency.

Mini-Circuits Technologies is a global leader in RF, IF and microwave signal processing products widely
used in military applications, cellular wireless, RFID, medical equipment, test equipment.
Job scope:
 Support R&D activities in engineering product build and provide technical solution for
development requirement.
 Responsible in process development and qualification for new product launch. Tasked to ensure
process robustness and responsible to oversee transfer to manufacturing.
 Responsible in creating compliance document for every new product and process changes.
Tasked to train process and maintenance team on new process to ensure smooth operation during
production.
 Subcontractor management and auditor, maintaining compliance document between company and
subcontractor.
 Cross functional work with R&D team and FA team to resolve customer RTA and provide
process improvement and rectification information to QA team.

1. Build thermal diode from new wafers for thermal characteristic study.
2. Qualified and released ceramic-sealed amplifier module to meet product release date.
3. Conduct 8D investigation on substrate solder issue after SMT process.
