General Manager
AllGen Corporation (AllGen) was established in 2010 but AllGen staff have
been working in the Philippines since 2000.
The management team of 5 Directors, who established the company, has
combined over 100 man-years of experience in the electricity generating field
and is able to utilise these skills, along with those of our team, in technical
projects as diverse as geothermal power generation and commercial waste
disposal equipment. Over recent years we have completed major power station
overhauls and refurbishment appraisals for EDC, CalEnergy, Emerald Energy,
Marubeni, Aboitiz and Global Business Power in the Philippines.
We believe that AllGen are now one of the leading specialist providers of
expert supervision and project management for a wide variety of plant
overhaul and construction projects in the Philippines.
More details of some of the projects that AllGen staff have managed can be
found in the case studies section of this document.
At AllGen, we recognise that owners and operators of
large, high value equipment need expert advice,
guidance and management of the construction and
ongoing maintenance of this equipment. We realise that
the risks for our clients associated with construction and
maintenance can be enormous. For example, the loss of a
generator to a power company, even for a short period can
seriously jeopardise the company’s ability to maintain
continuity of supply. Loss of this equipment could result in
the short term loss of supply-generated income and it
could also result in the loss of customers in the long term,
as a result of perceived unreliability of supply provision.
The loss of vital production equipment caused by project
over-runs can be crippling and that is why we, at AllGen,
offer the reassurance that all our projects will be managed
and overseen by our own specialists. These highly skilled
professionals make certain that every aspect of a project is
noted, assessed and managed to ensure that any risks are
recognised, mitigated and avoided. The Project Managers
within the AllGen team are also able to make sure that
milestones are identified and agreed with our clients and
will regularly update client’s management of progress or
changes to the project plan.

Project Management Service
Project Manager
The role of the Project Manager is vital to the success of a
project. It’s an area where AllGen staff have developed
genuine expertise over the last 15 years. Our highly skilled
project managers not only understand the challenges of
managing a large project to a satisfactory conclusion but they
also have a deep understanding of the work to be done and the
equipment to be worked on. Our Project Managers have
excellent grounding in the heavy engineering industry to
complement their in-depth knowledge of project planning. This
always helps to ensure that there are excellent lines of
communications between the hands-on engineers, the project
manager and the client.
In addition to Project Managers we are also able to provide Contract Management skills to
ensure that any negotiation for additional and required sub-contractors is managed in our clients’ best
interests. Contract managers are able to ensure that the right quality of subcontractor is engaged and
that this is done at the most advantageous price to our clients.
Project Controls and Management Systems
Within every project there need to be controls and
management systems. These are the vital indicators that
ensure the project runs smoothly and is delivered on time.
AllGen staff have many years of experience in providing these
services on a wide variety of projects. Our skilled project
managers will work with our clients to ensure that they
understand the controls that are required and that these
controls are in place before the project begins.
The management systems associated with these controls are in
place to ensure that there is consistency in the management of
a project. AllGen staff have many years experience in the use
of these systems and will employ them to ensure the success of
our clients’ projects.
Tender Development and Appraisal
Most major operators in the heavy engineering industry are
obliged to invite tenders for contract work on their sites
and their equipment. The creation of these tender requests
requires a high degree of skill and knowledge to ensure that
every aspect of the work to be carried out is aptly covered in the
tender. The risks associated with vital items of work being
omitted can be very high and costly.
AllGen’s experienced project managers have many years experience in the development of
tenders in a wide variety of industries. AllGen will work with your staff to ensure that the tenders
you create are comprehensive and cover all aspects of the contractual work to be completed.
Engaging AllGen’s experts will help to ensure that the risks associated with any item being missed
are minimised.

Quality Systems Development and Documentation
Quality systems are important to all large organisations to ensure that every aspect of
work is completed to a high standard of quality. For many companies the creation and
development of these systems can be a time-consuming and complex task. Very often, the
development of the quality system is a one-off task and the final system will only need to be
updated and maintained. Training staff in-house for the development of the quality system can
be cost ineffective as it is a resource-hungry task and the skills learnt may not necessarily be
transferable.
AllGen can offer specialists who are highly skilled in the development of quality systems. These
specialists will work with your staff to develop sophisticated systems to manage and maintain
the quality of the services carried out on your equipment. AllGen can also produce the
necessary documentation to support these quality systems.
At AllGen we are committed to all aspects of quality in everything that we do. By
providing quality systems development and documentation we believe that we demonstrate
our commitment to quality.
Project Auditor
AllGen also offers Project Auditor services. There are several situations where a client may
require the services of an auditor. In certain situations, this may be to carry out an independent
audit of a project. For example, this could include whether all the work specified in the original
tender has been completed correctly, or if all Health and Safety requirements have been met.
In certain circumstances the audit can also be carried out by the company carrying out the
project work. This would provide the client with the evidence that every part of the specified
project has been successfully completed to specification.
At AllGen we believe that the services of an auditor are invaluable to the client especially on
very high value or high risk projects. These services will provide clients with the greatest
possible reassurance that their project will be completed successfully and that all the risks will
be minimised.
Project Development
Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies
Understanding what is possible and what is not can be a daunting task in the heavy
engineering industry. It is also very important to understand whether an idea can realistically
be implemented. Answering the question “Can this be done?” may seem simple, but in
practice, there are expert skills involved in ensuring that the feasibility of any work is fully
understood. It’s not just about the “can it be done?” but also about “how will it be done?”
This is where AllGen’s expertise in this area can be a real bonus. By having the reassurance
that any item of work has been reviewed and studied by a skilled professional will ensure that
feasibility should never be an issue for your business.
Cost Benefit Analysis
AllGen’s Alan Robinson super-
vising records of shaft levels
on 80MW Fuji generator in the
Philippines.
Understanding whether the cost of carrying out work will be justified by the benefits
gained is a challenge that is faced constantly by organisations. It is basically ensuring
that you are getting value for money. At first this looks like a fairly simple question to answer,
but in practice, it is easy to leave important items out of the analysis. These forgotten items
can completely wipe out the benefits you had hoped to get from your work.
To ensure that every aspect of the cost of any work undertaken is included in the analysis you
need a highly skilled and experienced professional to help you. AllGen staff have undertaken
cost benefit analyses for a wide range of clients. These clients have benefited from our skills
and expertise in ensuring that every aspect of this complex process is considered and included
when appropriate.
Project Economics
The financial aspects of any project are an essential element to
its success. All aspects of project costs need to be documented
and understood. On major projects such as turbine overhauls
the sums involved can be very large. Errors or omissions in this
area can jeopardise the success of the total project.
To ensure that your organisation fully understands the
economics of a project AllGen can provide the resources to
map all parts of this essential item. This will ensure that there
are no errors or omissions and that the economics of your
project are fully understood at every step.
Risk Appraisal
Does your organisation fully understand all of the risks
that are involved in the work being undertaken? Whether
the work is being carried out by your in-house team or by an
external contractor you need to be assured that all the risks
have been appraised. Sometimes your own staff can be so
close to the project that they fail to take a more detached view
and they can miss some of the important risks involved.
By employing AllGen to carry out a risk assessment your organisation will receive an
independent appraisal of any work or project. Our team will carry out a detailed risk analysis
and give you an honest, open and expert view. The report will include all identified risks for the
project and make recommendations on how these risks can be minimised.
Maintenance Management Services
Development of Maintenance Strategies
Heavy equipment like power station generators are hugely expensive and their
maintenance and care are vital to ensuring that they continue to perform throughout their
lifetime. We all know it is not good practice to wait until work is required before starting the
maintenance planning work. This work needs to be completed to a fixed timescale and this can
only be done successfully by developing detailed maintenance strategies. These strategies will
ensure that scheduled maintenance planning commences well before the work is needed to be
carried out.
Having maintenance strategies in place will ensure that
budgets are secured and timetables are in place. This good
management practice can often be ignored or left until the last
moment because it is too complex or its benefit is not fully
understood. AllGen Staff have many years of experience in
developing maintenance strategies in a wide variety of
industries. These strategies will help AllGen’s clients to ensure
that their equipment is regularly maintained and that the cost of
the maintenance is included as a budget item.
Development of Maintenance Policies and
Procedures
The detailed policies and procedures associated with
maintenance of large items of equipment set out your
approach to the way your equipment will be maintained.
Having these policies and procedures in place will ensure that
there is continuity in the approach to maintenance.
Using AllGen’s expertise in this area can prove very cost
efficient and provide your organisation with the detailed policies
and procedures that you require. Our skills in this area are at a
high level and we have vast experience in the industry and are
able to use this in the development of these policies and
procedures. You can save your organisation time and money in
the long term by employing AllGen.
Maintenance Systems Analysis
Do you wonder how well the systems you have for maintenance are working? Are you
absolutely sure that they are giving your equipment the maintenance it requires to ensure
optimum life? With high value equipment, inappropriate maintenance systems can prove hugely
expensive. Do you want to risk this expense, when an analysis of your systems by experts can
give you the reassurance that you need and let you know if there are procedures that need to be
changed?
If you are not 100% sure that you have the right maintenance systems in place for your
equipment then AllGen can carry out a comprehensive analysis of your systems. We will
provide you with a detailed report on our findings and give you the necessary recommendations
to bring your systems back in line. This can help you to feel reassured that your systems are
really up to the task you require them for.
Maintenance Control and Documentation
How do you control the maintenance of your plant and equipment? Are the necessary
controls in place to ensure that maintenance work is completed correctly and in the right
sequence? What would happen if uncontrolled maintenance work was carried out? Does your
organisation have the right documentation in place to ensure that all appropriate staff are aware
of what needs to be undertaken?
AllGen can provide your organisation with the necessary controls and documentation to ensure
that this vitally important work is carried out with the right controls in place. This is an area
where our skilled engineers, technicians and consultants can ensure that your equipment
maintenance is controlled in the right way and that documentation is available to ensure correct
procedures are followed.

Power Station in the Philippines.
Maintenance Work Planning
The planning of maintenance work is an exercise that requires a skilled and experienced
team to complete. With planned down-time for your equipment very limited, and work overruns
costing your business huge amounts of lost revenue, you really cannot afford to overlook the
importance of planning work.
AllGen staff have years of experience in planning maintenance work on a wide variety of high
value equipment. AllGen staff have supplied clients with detailed plans for their maintenance
work either as part of a much larger engagement or as a one-off piece of work. These clients
have understood the need for work planning and the risks involved in either not having a
detailed plan or the plan they have being insufficient. They have used the services of AllGen
staff to reassure themselves that the work carried out has been properly planned by experts.
Contracting of Maintenance Services
Your organisation has made up its mind that maintenance of your equipment is required. You
have also decided that this work will be carried out by contractors rather than in-house staff. But how do
you know which is the right contractor to use and what their track record is? How can you make sure that
the contract that you have with them is sufficiently detailed to cover the risks that are involved?
To ensure that your contracts are as watertight as possible and that every aspect of the work to be
carried out is detailed in the contract you need to employ the services of an expert in this field like AllGen.
At AllGen we have the knowledge, experience and expertise to ensure that the contracts you enter into
are well drafted and contain all the terms and caveats that ensure successful completion of work.
Implementation of Major Maintenance Projects
Your organisation has decided to carry out maintenance work. It has been decided to use contractors
and the plans have been put in place. The contracts have been drawn up and signed and you are ready
to start. But, who will manage the implementation of this major maintenance project? Are you absolutely
certain that your in-house staff are able to ensure that the project will be successfully completed?
Wouldn’t you rather employ the services of AllGen to ensure that the implementation is carried out in
exactly the right way. AllGen’s expertise in maintenance project implementation comes from many
engagements in this area of work. They understand the intricacies of the implementation – how to turn
the theory into practice and make sure that the work is completed to your total satisfaction.
Risk Management of Maintenance Projects
Any project in the heavy engineering arena has associated risks. This is as true in maintenance
projects as it is anywhere else. The difference is that failure to manage the risks in these large
projects can potentially have a huge impact on your organisation’s revenue. These risks need to
be managed in minute detail throughout the project to ensure that all management are aware of
the risks and that risk avoidance actions are taken whenever possible. By ensuring that all risks
are highlighted and, wherever possible avoided, it will help to ensure that maintenance projects
are completed successfully.
To ensure your project has risks managed to the highest standard you need to engage
skilled professionals in the risk management area. AllGen have the necessary skills and
experience to manage project risks during maintenance work. AllGen’s experts will ensure that
your organisation is kept up to date throughout the project through regular communications and
meetings. They will also provide you with a detailed report on the ways that risks have been
avoided and managed during the project at its completion.
Asset Valuation and Acquisition Services
Due Diligence of Asset Sales
Your organisation is about to purchase a major piece of plant or equipment. You have been told
that it is in good condition and has been well maintained by the seller. Are you sure that they
are telling you everything? Have they been economical with the truth about the equipment?
How can you really be certain you are getting a good buy when you are spending millions of
dollars?
You will need to know what condition the equipment is in and you would like an independent
assessment of its value to ensure you are not over paying for it. Many of the problem areas with
heavy equipment and plant may not be visible from the exterior. You need to have an internal
inspection carried out to ensure that any faults have been identified. AllGen have experience in
providing this due diligence using their highly skilled technicians and consultants. As part of this
service AllGen can also provide clients with estimates of the costs of any repairs as well as
estimates of the costs for the staffing, operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Valuation of Generating Plant Assets
Is your organisation an electricity generator? Are you considering buying a generator but not
sure of how much is it worth? You need to be certain that the equipment you are considering is
worth the asking price. As well as due diligence of asset sales AllGen are also able to offer a
valuations service for generating plant assets. This will provide you with the reassurance you
need that the equipment you are considering is value for money. Our specialists can give your
organisation an accurate valuation of the equipment based on current market valuation.
Valuation of Specific Plant Items
AllGen are also able to offer accurate valuations on a variety of other specific plant items.

  • 3. AllGen Corporation (AllGen) was established in 2010 but AllGen staff have been working in the Philippines since 2000. The management team of 5 Directors, who established the company, has combined over 100 man-years of experience in the electricity generating field and is able to utilise these skills, along with those of our team, in technical projects as diverse as geothermal power generation and commercial waste disposal equipment. Over recent years we have completed major power station overhauls and refurbishment appraisals for EDC, CalEnergy, Emerald Energy, Marubeni, Aboitiz and Global Business Power in the Philippines. We believe that AllGen are now one of the leading specialist providers of expert supervision and project management for a wide variety of plant overhaul and construction projects in the Philippines. More details of some of the projects that AllGen staff have managed can be found in the case studies section of this document. At AllGen, we recognise that owners and operators of large, high value equipment need expert advice, guidance and management of the construction and ongoing maintenance of this equipment. We realise that the risks for our clients associated with construction and maintenance can be enormous. For example, the loss of a generator to a power company, even for a short period can seriously jeopardise the company’s ability to maintain continuity of supply. Loss of this equipment could result in the short term loss of supply-generated income and it could also result in the loss of customers in the long term, as a result of perceived unreliability of supply provision. The loss of vital production equipment caused by project over-runs can be crippling and that is why we, at AllGen, offer the reassurance that all our projects will be managed and overseen by our own specialists. These highly skilled professionals make certain that every aspect of a project is noted, assessed and managed to ensure that any risks are recognised, mitigated and avoided. The Project Managers within the AllGen team are also able to make sure that milestones are identified and agreed with our clients and will regularly update client’s management of progress or changes to the project plan. AllGen staff supervised and carried out much of the mechanical work on this 51 MW MHI Generator at Mount Apo
  • 4. Project Management Service Project Manager The role of the Project Manager is vital to the success of a project. It’s an area where AllGen staff have developed genuine expertise over the last 15 years. Our highly skilled project managers not only understand the challenges of managing a large project to a satisfactory conclusion but they also have a deep understanding of the work to be done and the equipment to be worked on. Our Project Managers have excellent grounding in the heavy engineering industry to complement their in-depth knowledge of project planning. This always helps to ensure that there are excellent lines of communications between the hands-on engineers, the project manager and the client. In addition to Project Managers we are also able to provide Contract Management skills to ensure that any negotiation for additional and required sub-contractors is managed in our clients’ best interests. Contract managers are able to ensure that the right quality of subcontractor is engaged and that this is done at the most advantageous price to our clients. Project Controls and Management Systems Within every project there need to be controls and management systems. These are the vital indicators that ensure the project runs smoothly and is delivered on time. AllGen staff have many years of experience in providing these services on a wide variety of projects. Our skilled project managers will work with our clients to ensure that they understand the controls that are required and that these controls are in place before the project begins. The management systems associated with these controls are in place to ensure that there is consistency in the management of a project. AllGen staff have many years experience in the use of these systems and will employ them to ensure the success of our clients’ projects. Tender Development and Appraisal Most major operators in the heavy engineering industry are obliged to invite tenders for contract work on their sites and their equipment. The creation of these tender requests requires a high degree of skill and knowledge to ensure that every aspect of the work to be carried out is aptly covered in the tender. The risks associated with vital items of work being omitted can be very high and costly. AllGen’s experienced project managers have many years experience in the development of tenders in a wide variety of industries. AllGen will work with your staff to ensure that the tenders you create are comprehensive and cover all aspects of the contractual work to be completed. Engaging AllGen’s experts will help to ensure that the risks associated with any item being missed are minimised. AllGen Staff provided 24/7 supervision for the overhaul of the turbine and removal/replacement of the Fuji generator rotor at Malitbog Power Station in the Philippines. • 5. Quality Systems Development and Documentation Quality systems are important to all large organisations to ensure that every aspect of work is completed to a high standard of quality. For many companies the creation and development of these systems can be a time-consuming and complex task. Very often, the development of the quality system is a one-off task and the final system will only need to be updated and maintained. Training staff in-house for the development of the quality system can be cost ineffective as it is a resource-hungry task and the skills learnt may not necessarily be transferable. AllGen can offer specialists who are highly skilled in the development of quality systems. These specialists will work with your staff to develop sophisticated systems to manage and maintain the quality of the services carried out on your equipment. AllGen can also produce the necessary documentation to support these quality systems. At AllGen we are committed to all aspects of quality in everything that we do. By providing quality systems development and documentation we believe that we demonstrate our commitment to quality. Project Auditor AllGen also offers Project Auditor services. There are several situations where a client may require the services of an auditor. In certain situations, this may be to carry out an independent audit of a project. For example, this could include whether all the work specified in the original tender has been completed correctly, or if all Health and Safety requirements have been met. In certain circumstances the audit can also be carried out by the company carrying out the project work. This would provide the client with the evidence that every part of the specified project has been successfully completed to specification. At AllGen we believe that the services of an auditor are invaluable to the client especially on very high value or high risk projects. These services will provide clients with the greatest possible reassurance that their project will be completed successfully and that all the risks will be minimised. Project Development Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies Understanding what is possible and what is not can be a daunting task in the heavy engineering industry. It is also very important to understand whether an idea can realistically be implemented. Answering the question “Can this be done?” may seem simple, but in practice, there are expert skills involved in ensuring that the feasibility of any work is fully understood. It’s not just about the “can it be done?” but also about “how will it be done?” This is where AllGen’s expertise in this area can be a real bonus. By having the reassurance that any item of work has been reviewed and studied by a skilled professional will ensure that feasibility should never be an issue for your business. Cost Benefit Analysis
  • 6. AllGen’s Alan Robinson super- vising records of shaft levels on 80MW Fuji generator in the Philippines. Understanding whether the cost of carrying out work will be justified by the benefits gained is a challenge that is faced constantly by organisations. It is basically ensuring that you are getting value for money. At first this looks like a fairly simple question to answer, but in practice, it is easy to leave important items out of the analysis. These forgotten items can completely wipe out the benefits you had hoped to get from your work. To ensure that every aspect of the cost of any work undertaken is included in the analysis you need a highly skilled and experienced professional to help you. AllGen staff have undertaken cost benefit analyses for a wide range of clients. These clients have benefited from our skills and expertise in ensuring that every aspect of this complex process is considered and included when appropriate. Project Economics The financial aspects of any project are an essential element to its success. All aspects of project costs need to be documented and understood. On major projects such as turbine overhauls the sums involved can be very large. Errors or omissions in this area can jeopardise the success of the total project. To ensure that your organisation fully understands the economics of a project AllGen can provide the resources to map all parts of this essential item. This will ensure that there are no errors or omissions and that the economics of your project are fully understood at every step. Risk Appraisal Does your organisation fully understand all of the risks that are involved in the work being undertaken? Whether the work is being carried out by your in-house team or by an external contractor you need to be assured that all the risks have been appraised. Sometimes your own staff can be so close to the project that they fail to take a more detached view and they can miss some of the important risks involved. By employing AllGen to carry out a risk assessment your organisation will receive an independent appraisal of any work or project. Our team will carry out a detailed risk analysis and give you an honest, open and expert view. The report will include all identified risks for the project and make recommendations on how these risks can be minimised. Maintenance Management Services Development of Maintenance Strategies Heavy equipment like power station generators are hugely expensive and their maintenance and care are vital to ensuring that they continue to perform throughout their lifetime. We all know it is not good practice to wait until work is required before starting the maintenance planning work. This work needs to be completed to a fixed timescale and this can only be done successfully by developing detailed maintenance strategies. These strategies will ensure that scheduled maintenance planning commences well before the work is needed to be carried out.
  • 7. Having maintenance strategies in place will ensure that budgets are secured and timetables are in place. This good management practice can often be ignored or left until the last moment because it is too complex or its benefit is not fully understood. AllGen Staff have many years of experience in developing maintenance strategies in a wide variety of industries. These strategies will help AllGen’s clients to ensure that their equipment is regularly maintained and that the cost of the maintenance is included as a budget item. Development of Maintenance Policies and Procedures The detailed policies and procedures associated with maintenance of large items of equipment set out your approach to the way your equipment will be maintained. Having these policies and procedures in place will ensure that there is continuity in the approach to maintenance. Using AllGen’s expertise in this area can prove very cost efficient and provide your organisation with the detailed policies and procedures that you require. Our skills in this area are at a high level and we have vast experience in the industry and are able to use this in the development of these policies and procedures. You can save your organisation time and money in the long term by employing AllGen. Maintenance Systems Analysis Do you wonder how well the systems you have for maintenance are working? Are you absolutely sure that they are giving your equipment the maintenance it requires to ensure optimum life? With high value equipment, inappropriate maintenance systems can prove hugely expensive. Do you want to risk this expense, when an analysis of your systems by experts can give you the reassurance that you need and let you know if there are procedures that need to be changed? If you are not 100% sure that you have the right maintenance systems in place for your equipment then AllGen can carry out a comprehensive analysis of your systems. We will provide you with a detailed report on our findings and give you the necessary recommendations to bring your systems back in line. This can help you to feel reassured that your systems are really up to the task you require them for. Maintenance Control and Documentation How do you control the maintenance of your plant and equipment? Are the necessary controls in place to ensure that maintenance work is completed correctly and in the right sequence? What would happen if uncontrolled maintenance work was carried out? Does your organisation have the right documentation in place to ensure that all appropriate staff are aware of what needs to be undertaken? AllGen can provide your organisation with the necessary controls and documentation to ensure that this vitally important work is carried out with the right controls in place. This is an area where our skilled engineers, technicians and consultants can ensure that your equipment maintenance is controlled in the right way and that documentation is available to ensure correct procedures are followed. AllGen staff supervised centering Turbine diaphragms with wire line equipment at Mahanagdong Power Station in the Philippines.
  • 8. Maintenance Work Planning The planning of maintenance work is an exercise that requires a skilled and experienced team to complete. With planned down-time for your equipment very limited, and work overruns costing your business huge amounts of lost revenue, you really cannot afford to overlook the importance of planning work. AllGen staff have years of experience in planning maintenance work on a wide variety of high value equipment. AllGen staff have supplied clients with detailed plans for their maintenance work either as part of a much larger engagement or as a one-off piece of work. These clients have understood the need for work planning and the risks involved in either not having a detailed plan or the plan they have being insufficient. They have used the services of AllGen staff to reassure themselves that the work carried out has been properly planned by experts. Contracting of Maintenance Services Your organisation has made up its mind that maintenance of your equipment is required. You have also decided that this work will be carried out by contractors rather than in-house staff. But how do you know which is the right contractor to use and what their track record is? How can you make sure that the contract that you have with them is sufficiently detailed to cover the risks that are involved? To ensure that your contracts are as watertight as possible and that every aspect of the work to be carried out is detailed in the contract you need to employ the services of an expert in this field like AllGen. At AllGen we have the knowledge, experience and expertise to ensure that the contracts you enter into are well drafted and contain all the terms and caveats that ensure successful completion of work. Implementation of Major Maintenance Projects Your organisation has decided to carry out maintenance work. It has been decided to use contractors and the plans have been put in place. The contracts have been drawn up and signed and you are ready to start. But, who will manage the implementation of this major maintenance project? Are you absolutely certain that your in-house staff are able to ensure that the project will be successfully completed? Wouldn’t you rather employ the services of AllGen to ensure that the implementation is carried out in exactly the right way. AllGen’s expertise in maintenance project implementation comes from many engagements in this area of work. They understand the intricacies of the implementation – how to turn the theory into practice and make sure that the work is completed to your total satisfaction. Risk Management of Maintenance Projects Any project in the heavy engineering arena has associated risks. This is as true in maintenance projects as it is anywhere else. The difference is that failure to manage the risks in these large projects can potentially have a huge impact on your organisation’s revenue. These risks need to be managed in minute detail throughout the project to ensure that all management are aware of the risks and that risk avoidance actions are taken whenever possible. By ensuring that all risks are highlighted and, wherever possible avoided, it will help to ensure that maintenance projects are completed successfully. To ensure your project has risks managed to the highest standard you need to engage skilled professionals in the risk management area. AllGen have the necessary skills and experience to manage project risks during maintenance work. AllGen’s experts will ensure that your organisation is kept up to date throughout the project through regular communications and meetings. They will also provide you with a detailed report on the ways that risks have been avoided and managed during the project at its completion.
  • 9. Asset Valuation and Acquisition Services Due Diligence of Asset Sales Your organisation is about to purchase a major piece of plant or equipment. You have been told that it is in good condition and has been well maintained by the seller. Are you sure that they are telling you everything? Have they been economical with the truth about the equipment? How can you really be certain you are getting a good buy when you are spending millions of dollars? You will need to know what condition the equipment is in and you would like an independent assessment of its value to ensure you are not over paying for it. Many of the problem areas with heavy equipment and plant may not be visible from the exterior. You need to have an internal inspection carried out to ensure that any faults have been identified. AllGen have experience in providing this due diligence using their highly skilled technicians and consultants. As part of this service AllGen can also provide clients with estimates of the costs of any repairs as well as estimates of the costs for the staffing, operation and maintenance of the equipment. Valuation of Generating Plant Assets Is your organisation an electricity generator? Are you considering buying a generator but not sure of how much is it worth? You need to be certain that the equipment you are considering is worth the asking price. As well as due diligence of asset sales AllGen are also able to offer a valuations service for generating plant assets. This will provide you with the reassurance you need that the equipment you are considering is value for money. Our specialists can give your organisation an accurate valuation of the equipment based on current market valuation. Valuation of Specific Plant Items AllGen are also able to offer accurate valuations on a variety of other specific plant items.
