Director: The Director has the vision of the film and therefore he controls everything that takes
place on making the movie so his vision gets put on the big screen, Examples on Film directors
are: J.J Abram's famous for Directing famous films like star trek and the upcoming star wars
movies, Christopher Nolan, Famous of Directing amazing films like, Batman Begins, The Dark
Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and The prestige.
Producer: The Producer is usually the first person involved in making a film. They also have the
responsibility of how the film turns out
Camera man: a camera mans job is well.. To operate the camera. They work with the director of
photography and the director to produce amazing cinematic experiences. Some examples of
camera men are Ken Seng who was a camera man for project x.
Editors: An editor can make or break a film, the editors role is a simple but difficult task, but
their job is to edit the films and put the different scenes together to make an overall film. Some
examples of editors are Jason Aldous who was the assistant online editor for the hobbit:

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) decide what age a film is
rated in the cinema and when it is released to the public.
The BBFC do not work with the government they are a non-profit
organisation who are independent.

Executive Producer: The executive producer is responsible for the all out come from
the tv show. There can be few executive producers at a time. Some examples of
executive producers are matt graining and alan ball.
Actor: and actors job is simple, to act out the directors view of the film, the act to
bring the script to life and they perform infront of the camera. Some examples of
actors are: benerdict cumberbach: sherlock, andrew lincoln: the walking dead and
Bryan Cranston: Breaking Bad.

7. Governing body : TV
The Ofcom (the office of communications) license TV shows and channels from
things like copyright infringement. They also so regulate all of the content that is
broadcasted on all TV in the UK. However TV broadcasters have to stick by a
certain ‘code of conduct’ made by Ofcom that they have to obey by, the code and

This code includes: protecting under 18 year olds, harm and offence, crime,
religion, fairness, privacy, commercial references in television programming . All
Tvchannels and shows must read through all of these rules made by the Ofcom. If
a tvchannel fails to comply the codes, in the case of serous or persistent breaches
of this code it can result in statutory sanctions. Ofcom can shorten

AMC started in 1984 on October the 1st it is owned by AMC Networks. It stands for
American movie Classics
It showed only ‘American Movie Classics’ Until 2002 when it aired modern movies as
well
It was a TV network that you had to subscribe to known as a ‘Premium’ TV channel
Amc broadcasts things like: The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Comic Book Men,
Hells on Wheels and Mad Men
After many television awards and critical acclaim from shows like Mad Men and
Breaking Bad, AMC started creating many more original shows. During this change,
AMC created its well known slogan, "Story Matters Here". The slogan referred to the
many shows that had created at the time, many of which had been praised great
stories told through them. It was also during this time that The Walking Dead TV
show was announced and aired. Currently it holds the title as most watched scripted
cable show in history.

Radio Producer: These are the people who are responsible for all the audio content
coming out of the radio, they are involved in the whole radio product that you listen
to, some examples of these are : Paddy Brunce ( Vodafones top40) Matt Fincham
,Ian Chaloner ,Fiona Hanlon ,Laura-May Coope are all producers of the breakfast
show on bbc radio 1
Presenter: The Presenter is who you hear on the radio sometimes the shows can be
named after the presenters. Some examples of presenters are: Ferne Cotton Radio
1, Greg James Radio 1 and Scot mills Radio 1.
Station controller: A Station Controller is responsible for Leading programme tems
on commercial radio stations, they must have a clear understanding of the purpose
and format of their radio station, some examples of Station controllers are:andy
parfitt
Radio editor: They make the sound effects that the radio uses and also they edit the
microphone, tsome examples of these are Jermary Hayes

Ofcom: Ofcom is the governing body for Radio, it
licenses everything on the radio including copyright
liscenses. Every radio Station must have this licensed
by ofcom to run a station, and just like television you
need to abide by certain rules to keep your licensing

Heart Fm was licenced in LONDON Slogan: More music variety. Owned by Global
radios, Heart have there own station in nearly every county of England. Heart began
broadcasting on the 6 September 1994, as 100.7 Heart FM being the UK's
third Independent Regional Radio station, five days after Century Radio and Jazz F
North West. The first song to be played on 100.7 Heart fm was "Something Got Me
Started", by Simply Red. Its original format of "soft adult contemporary" music
included artists such as Lionel Richie, Simply Red and Tina Turner
Its programming format was modified in 1996, a year after Chrysalis launched Heart
106.2 in London. The new format saw the "soft" AC music replaced with a generally

Magazine Editor: A magazine editors job is to edit the magazine. This will
include overseeing appearance and feature of the content in different
articles and that the magazine editor will also be needed to negotiate
payments with the writers, the magazine editor basically has full control
over the magazine and its outcome
Newspaper Journalist: The newspaper journalist will give the newspapers
stories which then they can publish. This will include interviewing different
people (under different circumstances), answering the phones at desks to
give people there input on different stories and working closely with
different news teams
Photographer: Photographers have the ablitiy for creating visual images for
a very wide range of purposes (creative, technical, documentary, ect.)
Professionals are mainly hired/ have works set/ breifed by clients, large
businesses or other employers. For example, wedding pictures, fashion,
historic architeecture, geographical landscapes ect.

IT Directors: IT directors will oversee all technical projects to do with the company, this
allows them to completely control everything in their department. They will work
with information engineers to manage the business and will identify new market
opportunities
Finance Director: Finance Directors will work with senior teams to grow the business,
also they will lead their finance teams working to more of a profit for the business.
They prepare and submit weekly and monthly updates, they review of accounts and
investigation of variances and setting recovery plans.
