Cultural identity is defined as the sense or feeling of belonging to a group. I connect my cultural identity to my immediate family. My immediate
family consists of my parents, two younger sisters, and myself. Each one of us has significant values that have been instilled in one another. I believe

Researching my family and my background I have found that I have ancestors from several countries including Germany, Sweden, England, Ireland,
and Scotland. They all came to America for a variety of reasons ranging from religious persecution, hope for a better life with better economic

Ms. Goodall walked into HDWC on 02/11/2015 for assistance. She was referred by ACS Community Representative. She requested for assistance to
address her concerns of childcare for Myan, housing, early intervention, and mental health services to address her bi–polar and depression to address
problems within her family. Ms. Goodall admits to discontinuing mental health services, including her prior prescribed medication. In addition,
engaging in substance abuse while pregnant with Myan.
Living Environment
Ms. Goodall living situation is not stable. She at first did not have any place to stay for herself and her daughter, Myan.

also support my younger cousins and brother. As an eldest brother and cousin, I feel I must be a good example for the young ones. There are
numerous methods of showing my cousins and brother support. One main way is by providing advice on making the right choices. For example my
brother had a problem at school with one of his classmates. As a mature and responsible older brother, I advised him to use the non–violent approach. I
told him to go discuss the problem and try to resolve it peacefully. My brother then asked me why he shouldn't fight his classmate. I explained how
violence is the answer to anything. I advised him to first talk to his classmate in a professional manner. If then things get out of hand, I told him to

When reflecting on my background, I think there are two major questions that are to be answered, "Who am I?" and "Where do I come from?". My
great–great grandparents on my mother's side of my family originated from somewhere in Ireland. Although, I do not know specifics, I know that the

I remember how odd it was to know that some kids didn't have religion class but they still went to church on the weekends. Then, as I went to high
school I attended another private Catholic school. I realized in high school more about how to implement my faith into my daily life and I was taught

One of these is that on Thanksgiving everybody comes together to my parents' house in New Jersey for a huge feast. On Christmas only my mother and
the children (me and my brother) travel to Illinois to spend a week with my grandparents. On New Years Eve we all get together at my parents'

Family background and history (F): As I have mentioned previously, I grew up in a divorced family from a very young age. I lived with my mom,
sister and grandma for about four years until my mom remarried and moved across the country. My sister and I then moved in with my dad for about

Across the span of our lives, we all experience enduring hardships that shape and ascertain the person we show to the world today. At the age of three
I was taken from my biological parents, based on charges of domestic violence and substance abuse, and subsequently placed in the foster care system. I
was moved from home to home, in and out of the system, for nearly seven years until I was adopted in 2013. My involvement and maturity within
