Providing an opportunity for parents to take part in
their child’s education at Harvard, the Harvard
College Fund Parents Committee members form
connections with parents of other Harvard
students.
3. Harvard College Fund
• The committee’s primary goal as a fundraising arm is to
foster feelings of belonging among Harvard parents
worldwide through the creation of initiatives that
maximize engagement.
Members of the committee serve as volunteer outreach
staff tasked with inspiring other parents to support the
school. Members share their personal experiences as
Harvard parents and encourage other parents to support
the school. Core expectations of members of the Harvard
College Fund Parents Committee are to organize parent
outreach events, attend committee meetings, attract new
members, and cultivate relationships between parents of
Harvard students and the school.
