uploaded‘Be Inspired’andone of myfriendshadtoldme my videowentviral,whichblew me away,
I didnot believe thatbutinonly24 hours,it hadaround 200 thousandviews.Iwasshockedbecause
I didnot thinkmyvideothatwouldhappentome.I thinkitwas because Lil Wayne sharediton his
Facebook.AfterthatI gainedahuge fan base and hadmany recordlabelscomingtome withoffers
and I didn’treallyknowwhatwashappeningbecause Iwasaboutto finishHighschool andabouta
weekbefore Ihadno ideabutI didn’twantto miss mychance at makingthismy career.Therefore,I
tookit and nowI am here.
Whendidyou realise that you wanteda career in music? I was interestedinmusicandwouldplay
it everyday.Many of my friendsandfamilywouldalwaystellme toturnit off the music.At this
point,Ihad a real passionformusic.Iwas justturning17 and had to thinkaboutwhatI wantedto be
whenI leftHighschool andit nevercame tomy realisationthatIcouldbe a rappersince I would
wearheadphonesandcouldneverhearmyselfbutmanyof my friendswouldencourage me to
make a videowhichiswhere itstarted.
Where do you get your inspiration? I listentomanymainstreamrappersbutI try notmixingtheir
musicwithmine because Iwantmy musicto be original andnot anotherversionof someone else,
whichhas workedforme.I have myown music,whichpeople enjoy,andIthinkitis because itisI
and notsomeone else.Mymusiccomesfrommyown experience butall the supportIgetfor my
music.It reallyinspireandmotivatesme tocontinue mydreamandto take whatI have andconnect
to otherpeople.
Where do you see yourselfin5 years? I still hope tobe inthe musicbusinessbutIhope that I am
happyand that I still enjoywhatIam doingbecause Iwouldn’tdothisif Itrulydidn’tbelieve inwhat
I do and thatI am havingfundoingwhatI love.A goal forme isto playfor millionssuchasthe super
bowl,whichsoundslike acrazygoal butthat is whatI thoughtaboutwhat I am doingnow it isclear
to me that I can do anythingI wantto do as longas I enjoyit.I will startsmall withlittletourand
concert andto grow myfan base and maybe one dayI can make anotherdreamcome true.I have a
concert comingoutand that has around10 thousandpeople comingto watch.Iam constantly
growingandI do see myself performingtomillions.AsIalwayssaywhat ismeantto be,will be
because if Idoesn’thappenIwon’tbe upsetbecause Iwas still able todothisas a joband I don’t
take it forgrantedand will alwaystryto setgoalsso that I am alwaysworkingtowardssomething.
How did you balance school with music? I wasgettingstandardgradesand as I said,I didnot really
knowwhatI wantedto be so I was reallytryingnew thingsoutsoI couldhave a somethingthatI
was interestedinbecause school didnotreallyinterestme.However,toansweryourquestionIwas
doingwell inandhad some free time,whichiswhyIstartedsome new hobbies,andIwas lucky
enoughtoturn my hobbyintomyjob.
What is a typical day/weeklike for you? Well,Inormallyspendalot of time inmy studio,whichis
where Iwrite mysongs because the atmosphere ismotivating.We have somanycreative mindsall
workingtogethertomake an amazingsong.Obviously,Idospendsome time chillingandplaying
games(laughs).

What personal advice wouldyou give to someone wantingto pursue thiscareer? So I startedit as a
hobby,I neverhadanyintentiontotake thisas a career.I alwayswanteditbut I didnotthinkI could
make it.I didtruly believe inmymusicandmeanteverywordIsaid,I was luckyenoughtoget the
exposure thatIgot.
Where wouldyou be ifyou did not take this as your career? That is a goodquestionbecause Idid
not know,mylife changedinonlyacouple weeksbutIam positive thatIwouldstill be inschool and
studyingsomethingIlove.
