Hello Daisy, how are you?
Yea I’m good, I’m good yourself?
Yea thanks I’m ok so how are you finding the whole music business?
I love it; it’s all I’ve wanted to do since I can remember it’s just weird recording in a studio instead of
writing songs in my bedroom. The development of music is crazy!! Anyone can become a star with
YouTube now.
Did the internet and sites like MySpace and YouTube have a big impact on your progression into
music?
Yea massively, I had my own channel on YouTube and never thought much of it, I remember getting
like 2000 views and then 100,000 and it just started to grow. Now it’s mad something like a million
views which you know is crazy. I have to thank all of the youtubers and people giving me massive
support otherwise the record label would have never seen me.
Are you planning to go on tour after you’ve finished your album?
Oh yea I mean that would be amazing, I’m trying not to get ahead of myself because you never know
the album could flop, but yea I’m working a lot in the studio to get my first album out. At the minute
I’m a support act on tour with Banks so I’m traveling all up and down the UK and hopefully someday
I will have my own tour.
You’ve come up through new channels are you on the lookout for any other new artists/ bands
that you can maybe work with?
Yea I’d love to work with new artists/bands just because it excites me, new music that is. Meeting
and working with new people is always good it expands my taste in music.
Did you ever consider reality TV shows like X Factor?
God no (laughs) I can’t stand them kinda shows they don’t appeal to me at all. They’re more
interested in the image of a person than the music and if they have talent. I can’t stand the X Factor.

What do you see 2014 bringing you?
I don’t want to jinx anything, I really can’t say at the minute I don’t know. I’d love to be at a festival it
would be so awesome to have a crowd singing your songs back to you but like I said don’t want to
jinx anything so we’ll just wait and see.
At ANM we have heard all about you and Florence, from Florence and the Machine how’s that
going?

2. (laughs and blushes) haha yea she saw some of my stuff on YouTube and started tweeting me about
how much she loved it, when I saw her a few months ago we really clicked on our music so watch
out you never know what’s gonna happen next.
