In conclusion, Social media marketing is an addition to personal, small business, corporate, and non-profit
organizations’integrated marketing communications plan.
Social media has the ability to play a huge hand in this shift of changing the rules of traditional media.

What stops your thumb?
You are logged in ! And scrolling through your Facebook news feed, then your thumb stops! Why ?
What caught you eye? We you delve into the reality of this, you begin to understand how important imagery is in our everyday lives and more so as a brand
or product.
Sadly there are far to many examples of poor imagery.
When analyzing this picture, more especially on a mobile device, being that South Africa is a mobile first network, they first question you would ask
yourself?
Why is the road dominating the majority of the picture?
You need to ask yourself,unless you are a huge #Subaru Fan, would this post stop your thumb? Secondly, the copy on this post is not particularly
compelling. Subaru should rather have taken an excerpt from the article
"Forester improves on a practical package" CLICK to read more.
The likelihood that someone would click here is more likely, as it gives the idea that the review was positive. Overlaying the image with the product logo
would have also gone a long way for FANS to have affinity with the image that they are looking at.
Take this example from Honda.
One can clearly see which brand this is. There is a clear call to action. The copy is an ideal length. This particular post received the following interaction:

It's clear that with this post that Honda India went a long way to stopping your thumb.
With this in mind before posting one should consider the following aspects:
1.Is the post shareable? (Would I share it on my timeline?)
2.Is it short (Ideally 80 characters or less. Jeff Bullas Study)
3.Does it have an appropriate Call to Action?
4.Is it conversational? Does it tell my brands story?
5.Is it relevant to my Page | Brand?
6.Is it timely & newsworthy?
With a fair amount of planning taking the aspects above into account, one can create definitive creative content that is relative to your audience that causes
them to stop their thumbs when scrolling through their fe

Writing Piece about Social Media Marketing In conclusion, Social media marketing is an addition to personal, small business, corporate, and non-profit organizations’integrated marketing communications plan. Social media has the ability to play a huge hand in this shift of changing the rules of traditional media. 10 What stops your thumb? You are logged in ! And scrolling through your Facebook news feed, then your thumb stops! Why ? What caught you eye? We you delve into the reality of this, you begin to understand how important imagery is in our everyday lives and more so as a brand or product. Sadly there are far to many examples of poor imagery. When analyzing this picture, more especially on a mobile device, being that South Africa is a mobile first network, they first question you would ask yourself? Why is the road dominating the majority of the picture? You need to ask yourself,unless you are a huge #Subaru Fan, would this post stop your thumb? Secondly, the copy on this post is not particularly compelling. Subaru should rather have taken an excerpt from the article "Forester improves on a practical package" CLICK to read more. The likelihood that someone would click here is more likely, as it gives the idea that the review was positive. Overlaying the image with the product logo would have also gone a long way for FANS to have affinity with the image that they are looking at. Take this example from Honda. One can clearly see which brand this is. There is a clear call to action. The copy is an ideal length. With this in mind before posting one should consider the following aspects: 1.Is the post shareable? (Would I share it on my timeline?) 2.Is it short (Ideally 80 characters or less.
