2009 - Present Professional magician and balloon twister - I created & marketed my
own magic and balloon twisting business - Brettso Entertainment -

throughout the last few years as both a student and intern/volunteer at Vanguard
University.
I first met Brett when he registered into my Micro Economics class. Due to his excellent
performance in that class, I invited him to join me in an upper level consulting/cause-based
entrepreneurial class called EnactUs. He also took part in several weekend community
service events that I chaired, most notably the United Way/VUSC partnership VITA
program, underwritten by the IRS. Throughout it all, Brett has proved to be a trusted
resource and student leader.
Brett has always struck me as someone willing to put himself on the line. He became a team
leader on several of our assignments. He has shown exceptional skills in working with and
leading teams, consistently met pre-determined deadlines, and submitted his ego in
becoming a very teachable student.
