2. BACKGROUND OF THE
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM
• Within my water bottle advert I have had some constructive
criticism regarding the mistakes I've made and also the
techniques I have done well. I must also ensure that I learn
from these mistakes in order to properly prepare for my
deodorant advert, it’s better to make these mistakes now
rather than where they could be crucial.
4. GOOD ESTABLISHING SHOT
• Within my first shot I have heard that the stablishing shot was well done. It added nice
setting and gave a nice overview of what was happening in the scene.
5. GOOD MULTITUDE OF SHOTS
• Within the advertisements I have been told that I have a nice multitude of shots, from
establishing shots, to mid shots, to low angle shots etc.
6. GOOD PRODUCT SHOT
• Within the advert the product shot at the end was said to be a good way to showcase
my product clearly and effectively.
8. CONTINUITY ISSUES
• Within my advertisement I had the issue of continuity, in one shot my actress was
smiling but when it cut she was then not smiling.
9. 180* RULE
I broke the 180* rule, when both actors were on the wall, it looked like they switched sides
when I filmed the handshake and so confused the audience.
10. HEAD CUT OFF
• In my shot the head was cut off so it instantly made the shot look more unprofessional
than if it did have the full head. I must remember to include the full head.
