DUBAI FESTIVAL CITY PHASE 2 CONSTRUCTION WORKS
The project will deliver an enlarged Festival Square connecting with the
unique waterfront dining locations. The first phase of this two-phase
refurbishment program began in January. It included repainting work,
removal of certain kiosks and the addition of shopping space for retailers
like Landmark group to setup in the mall. "Dubai Festival City Mall
provides families, residents and tourists with the most appealing
shopping, leisure and dining options.
Responding to the wants and needs of our guests and retailers underpins
all that we do," said Murray Bell, Managing Director, Retail, Al-Futtaim
Group Real Estate. Designed to capture the ground breaking 21st
Century spirit of Dubai, Dubai Festival City was the first fully integrated
mega project to be progressively delivered in the UAE.
BVLGARI RESORT HOTEL & MARINA VILLAGE
Bvlgari Resort Hotel & Marina Village is located off the coast of Jumeirah
Beach Road and will feature a distinguished 5 star mixed-use
development, sculpted in the shape of a titanic seahorse featuring retail,
residential, hospitality and entertainment zones.
By its name itself holding a prestigious entity, a hotel and varied luxurious
residential options such as villas and mansions will swarm the
ambiance. And with the backdrop of the gleaming Jumeirah Beach

DOHA FESTIVAL CITY – 3100 MALL MAIN CONTRACT
ALEC Qatar originally formed a JV with Gulf Contracting Company
(GCC) to execute the 3250 Enabling Works package which covers all
sub-grade earthworks; piling (day 1 variation); pad footings; basement
slab and ground floor suspended slab, including all waterproofing and
MEP buried services. This fast track project has been very successful to
date and is currently running ahead of schedule.
The next phase in the project, the 3100 Mall Main Contact, consists of
the construction of the retail mall, multi storey car park facility as well as a
state of the art entertainment facility
RELOCATION OF DUBAI AIRSHOW EXPO HALL &
RELATED FACILITIES TO DWC
(From June.2012 to Sept.2013)
The new facility in Dubai World Central is the home of The New
Dubai Airshow 2013. The scope of works included for the dismantling,
transportation and rebuilding of the loadmaster, royal pavilion and
expo hall buildings. Comprising of all structural elements, architectural
finishes and MEP systems
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - CONCOURSE A
(From June.2011 to June.2012)
The third concourse will have 20 contact gates, of which 18 will be for
the A380. It is a fully airside structure and is connected to Terminal 3
via an automated people mover in addition to vehicular and baggage
handling systems utility tunnels. Encased in its elliptical shape are 2
rectangular volumes that hold both 4 and 5 star hotels. The first and
business class lounges are located on 2 separate levels below the hotel,
including arrival and departure floors and a duty free area. ALEC's
scope includes the overall co-ordination of the project, managing
various subcontract packages and associated package
PARK HYATT, SAADIYAT ISLAND
(From April.2010 to June 2011)
A 309 key six-storey Hotel on Saadiyat Island including all FF&E, a
single basement for MEP and parking for 430 vehicles, a health club,
four F&B outlets, ballroom & conference facilities; a presidential villa,
three 2-bedroom villas; six single storey ryads; one double storey ryad;
a kids club; a beach house; all landscaping, external works and services.
MIRDIF CITY CENTRE
(From Aug.2008 to April.2010)
One of the UAE’s largest super regional centers focused on lifestyle
and community facilities, Midriff City Centre features 440 outlets in a
two-level mall, with associated parking and energy center.
