Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to further support my CV with some additional information.
I have recently completed MBA from Birla Institute of Technology, Ras Al Khaimah. My keen
interest to understand the foundations of business strategy and operations, backed by the passion
to keep pace with the modern marketplace, is the reason that I decided to pursue an MBA.
Through the course work and various mini-projects, I have had the opportunity to deep dive into
the world of electronic pay, credit cards, business analysis and financial stabilities of various
organizations. To give you an example, the project on credit card usage among the consumers in
UAE revealed many interesting findings. It not only broadened my understanding of the spending
behavior among various demographics but also showed me that many of the consumers are not
fully aware of the terms & conditions and risks associated with electronic pay. This increases the
need for service providers to ensure extra transactional securities while being compliant and
maintain interoperability.
During the course of my studies, I have also been able to get some experience under my belt
through several internships. These provided me an excellent platform to put to practice the
updated knowledge that I gathered through my formal and self-initiated online certification
studies. To quote another example, my brief role as a Business Analyst intern at Juma Al Majid
Contracting & Services instilled in me the confidence that I am capable of translating the
theoretical knowledge into practice. At Juma Al Majid, I followed a green six-sigma approach in
identifying the need and value of replacing the operations and maintenance vehicle such that it
benefits the company’s overall operating expense.
Besides academics, I have been consistently involved in several extra-curricular activities right
from my high school. My proven leadership qualities and down to earth personality has helped
me engage, inspire and build good relationships and increase social capital. I believe that my
background in finance, combined with a can-do attitude, good social and interpersonal skills and
ever so eager to learn mentality would prove to be an asset in expanding business.
I believe, I will be able to positively contribute towards business development and operations, by
being a strong team player, using my multi-disciplinary knowledge, and interpersonal skills. I
