promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a
job vacancy.
“Advertisements for alcoholic drinks”
A person or thing regarded as a means or
recommending something.
“unhappy clients are not a good advertisement for the
film”.
We can say that advertisement means to recommend
something, a brand or service or products etc.
Now day advertisement has become one of the
important right of customers because through
advertisement as a customer we come to know more
about the product.
Now a day the advertisement are merely not for the
information but it also servers the customer’s purpose
of entertainment.
Information + Entertainment = Infotainment
 A women place is in the home
Women do not make important decisions
Women are dependent and need men’s protection
Men regard women primarily as sexual object
• Indian and global advertisement portray women in
domestic role or as decorative sex object.
• Women existence in advertisement merely to seek
male attention.
• The customer is no more the “King”
But is now the “Queen”.
• In this advertise starts with
four women driving car and
a point where they witness
an ambulance stuck in a
puddle with people looking
on curiously.
• Here in this advertise the
men remain mute
spectators without
participating in the crisis
situation as saviour actors.
• In this ad the female face as well as female body.
• The image in which the female is having spotless
face, face having no dark circle at all, and glowing
skin.
• Which is not possible in the real life.
• In this advertise he promises
that he would pick she up
after office but is caught up
with some work and ask
Neetu to take a taxi upon
reaching home.
• She tells him that she was
more independent before
marriage.
• He is moved and realized that
she has to go through a lot
because of his busy shedual.
• And then decides to sell his

cars.
