• Unemployment in Orlando sits at just 2.5 percent, the second lowest rate ever recorded for the area.
• Firms continue to flock to Orlando in search of a high-quality and affordable workforce. In fact, the Orlando MSA
posted the highest job growth rate in the nation for four straight years from 2015-2018.
• The University of Central Florida confers nearly 17,000 degrees each year now, maintaining the talent pipeline that
has propelled Orlando to grow into major center of commerce.
• The average household income in Orlando is $55,875 and the median home value is just $227,457, making it a very
affordable place to live.
• Office development is on the rise across the region as new projects from Lake Mary, to the CBD, to south Orlando
prepare to break ground in the year ahead.
• Office rental rates in Orlando have historically been highly competitive, but with interest in the area increasing
rapidly and new, class-A supply coming online with higher rates, prices could continue to climb to new heights.
