BRANDING GOVERNANCE
This identity and messaging guide describes the foundational elements
of the Vail Resorts Employment Brand. The purpose is to define usage
standards and to empower individuals to uphold the integrity of the brand
by following the standards presented in this guide.
Compliance with these guidelines allows for ease of use, as well as protects
the strength of the Vail Resorts Employment Brand. We require that you
refer to this guide as you develop any marketing or communications and
seek approval from Marketing and Talent Acquisition. For questions on

The resort logos will always appear in white no matter the readability and will
live in the bottom left corner. The resort logos will always be the ones seen to the
right to maintain consistency across the brand, and should remain the same size
in relation to each other and their respective pieces.
*12-MOUNTAIN COLLECTION LOGO
This will be used when speaking about jobs enterprise-wide. Only the white
version may be used, and must be used on the solid black bar.
*VAIL RESORTS LOGO
The Vail Resorts logo will always be the white version
used on the solid black bar. The logo with the tagline
is the preferred option, though if the desired size is
inconsistent with the Corporate Brand Guidelines, then
the version without the tagline may be used.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. One morning, when Gregor
Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his
bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted
his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided
by arches into stiff sections. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and
seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared
with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography should reflect iconic and unique
images of our resorts when referring to working at
Vail Resorts. This includes using photos that do not
have employees in them actually, but are “symbolic
photos” and have a “dual” meaning by pairing them
with headlines that convey what it means to work
at Vail Resorts. While the images might represent
something unrealistic for other organizations,
we’ve purposely chosen to show the very real
exhilaration, passion, and commitment of our
team by using images that represent our brands,
locations and core business while at the same time
choosing headlines that speak to working at Vail
Resorts.
Images should be bright and reasonably saturated,
often reflecting our blue skies. It is required to
show people who are wearing helmets when in
action skiing, riding or zip-lining.
