Joined a new exciting venture in a brand new department for AstraZeneca I provided support and
coordination across multiple teams spanning from Contract to Cash, P2P, group reporting and fixed
assets. Supported directly the new VP in laying the foundations of the new department
Global Process Expert – Contract to Cash
2013-2014
Joined the last year of the “Pearl” Programme in AstraZeneca as Global Process Expert I have been
responsible for the design and implementation of the “e-pdf” invoices conversion.
I led a cross functional team of IS, outsourcing and internal departments to convert to the receipt of
electronic invoices (e-PDF) over 20,000 customers. The project brought significant cost reduction in
printing, simplification in handling and working capital improvement by eliminating the difference
between invoice dispatched and invoice receipt date.
SEPA Project Manager
2012-2013
Led a cross functional team of Finance, IS, procurement, HR and six banking partners as four external
providers assessing 220,000 separate suppliers, customers and employees. Fifteen separate formats
were migrated to the new sepa standard system and, on launch day, AZ was one of only 20%
organisations ready for the move.
Without the correct implementation of the project AZ would have been at risk of not paying its European
suppliers and its employees after February 2013.
Project was delivered on time and under budget and nominated for an internal Amaze Award

2. Global Cash&Banking Project Lead
2010-2011
Leader for the cash and banking activities within the global payroll outsourcing program at AstraZeneca.
I have designed and implemented the new banking processes across 100 countries including transition to
standard SEPA format.
Key player and point of contact globally across AstraZeneca, third party provider, local markets and
banking provider.

June 2008 – 2010
Working as part of the Global Transactional Finance I have been responsible for the Banking department
within the SSC dealing with 30 markets, managing 140 bank accounts with a busy team of 10 accounting
administrators; my department was responsible for the outgoing payments and collection for Account
Payables, Sales Order to Cash and Travel and Expenses.
Transactions totalling $4 billion/year
Key Achievements
• Migrated activities from UK Operations to the European Shared Service Centre including Audit,
Data Management, Intercompany and Banking (Pharmaceutical area)
• Implemented overnight payment runs for the Banking pharmaceutical sector, reducing manual
work and achieving an efficient automated process.
• Implemented new policy for urgent payments across departments – reduction of urgent
payments by 60% in 6 months achieving a subsequent dramatic reduction in cost.
o Identified new ways of working, breaking through the resistance when challenging the
status quo.

World’s leading tyres manufacturer with 109,193 employees around the world, producing more than 150
million tyres with a net sales of € 14.8 billion with 72 production facilities in 19 countries.
P2P Team Leader
November 2006 – June 2008
Michelin Tyres European Shared Service centre handled credit control, accounting services and invoices
for 12 European countries where I managed the account payable team of 15 members responsible for the
payment on time of 6000 invoices a month providing services to 8 European countries.
Key Achievements
• Invoices paid on time percentage improved from 34% to 95%.
• Implementation of cross training and knowledge sharing to ensure resiliency in case of
unavailability of a team member.
• Structured the team implementing a tracking system to monitor business critical invoices and
payment on time.
ExxonMobil – European Shared Service Centre – Manchester – UK
World's largest publicly traded international oil and petrochemicals organisation engaged in the
exploration, production, transportation and sale of crude oil and natural gas and the manufacture,
transportation and sale of petroleum products; the company has over 80,000 employees for a $440.5
billion sales and net profit of $40.6 billion.
Team Leader, Team Senior, Project Advisor
3. August 2003 – September 2006
Worked as part of a multi-lingual business support centre and a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, the world's
largest private oil and fuel company. The centre focused on to optimise the level of customer service and
process efficiencies available to Esso's fuels customers across 14 European countries.
Key Achievements:
Quickly moved from team member to team senior in the Vendor Contracts department to Project advisor
in the development of a new global contract management system (GCMS) replacing the old legacy
system (Oracle).
This involved in-sourcing of the Tax activities still performed in Italy, which I personally took the lead for
the implementation and satisfactory performance of these in to the shared service centre.
Promoted to Team Leader I was a key player in the development of the European Knowledge Transfer
program to migrate the activities to the new shared service centre in Budapest where ExxonMobil
transferred the department. I was in charge of delivering the training to the new team in Budapest.
I spent over 3 months in Budapest as part of the stabilisation team.
I received continuous improvement awards in all three years I was at ExxonMobil
