I am a senior structural mechanical engineer with over 35 year’s experience. Working in the UK (England and
Scotland), Italy, Norway, UAE, and Malaysia I have covered most disciplines in engineering; automotive,
construction, marine, nuclear, offshore, and oil and gas; this broad experience has allowed to me to hone
and develop my skills across various sectors, whilst ensuring the best technical and cost-effective outcomes
for any project I work on.
CAREER HISTORY
LLOYD’S REGISTER 1990-2000/ 2002-2005 / 2007-2016
Since joining Lloyd’s Register (of Shipping) as a contracted Fixed Platforms Structural Engineer in 1990, I have
been involved in and lead projects globally. From presenting and securing clients to final project delivery, to
managing and mentoring senior engineers, my years at Lloyd’s Register have given me opportunities to not
only develop my engineering knowledge and working practices, but also my client liaison and management
skills. For the past 9 years, I have been the Principal Structural Specialist and Resource Authoriser for Finite
Element Analysis (FEA) and structural aspects of Subsea, Fixed and Floating structures for the Lloyd’s Register
Marine and Energy Department. Key projects and responsibilities:
Structural lead on AGIP KCO - on shore project.
