Childhood obesity is one of
the most serious public
health challenges of 21st
century
According to World Health
Organisation (2013) in 2010
number of obese children
under the age of 5 was
estimated to over 45 million!
3. Lets save our youth through
PDHPE.
Lets do the Three E’s to achieve a healthy
life style:
at a healthy balanced diet.
exercise 60 minutes daily.
ducated on healthy life style.
4. IMPORTANCE OF PDHPE IN
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Provides students with knowledge and
understanding, skills , values and attitudes needs to
lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives.
It promotes active lifestyle and physical activity.
Educates Children about safe living- Road safety,
personal safety and safety at home and school.
Helps to develop interpersonal relationships.
Encourages them to make sound decisions for their
health choices.

Children develop skills:
