2. Characters
• The film contains two characters, the interviewer, and the man being
interviewed. Casual clothing, despite it being an interview, this will be
mentioned in the film, and will fit the plot.
• Characters backstories will not be extensively explored, as they are
not the key focus of the film, and personalities and traits will not be a
primary focus
3. The Plot
• The film is based around the main character finding a flyer for an
application for a new role in a business, the back of the flyer will be
shown, reading "Our salespeople are so good, they could sell air!" It
will also read "casual clothing required" this will be explained later in
the film.
• The character will go to the interview, and the film will show the
beginning of the interview, and the characters introducing
themselves. The scene will then cut to later on in the interview, when
the interviewer is explaining that the salespeople wear casual clothes,
as they want customers to view them as 'friends' instead of
salespeople.
4. Plot Continued
• The interviewer will then mention the 'final part of the interview'
before asking the main character to 'sell him some air'. The main
character will be confused for a few moments, stalling for words to
make it seem like he is prepared, before emptying his water bottle
onto the floor, to sell 'a bottle of air'
5. Film World
• There will be two settings. The first setting will be very brief, and will
show the character taking a flyer, the second will be the room that
the interview is taking place in; where the majority of the film will
take place.
6. Basic pitch
• The film will be of a comedic genre, taking place around a
misunderstanding, where a character goes to an interview, with the
flyer for the interview stating that "their employees must be so good
that they could sell you air". The main character believes this to be a
metaphor, until he is asked to sell the interviewer air in his interview.
