We all know that people are more than the sum of their social media profiles. But if you’re serious about making a living by creating content and gaining sponsors, what you put out on your social channels is how you’ll be judged. In this live-fire exercise, Brad Rodriguez will select the social profiles of actual class attendees, see how they look, what is working well, and what can be improved, all the while sharing best practices that align with what's trending in the ever changing landscape of social media.

Get ahead of the week with a plan
Find a rhythm and stick to it
Make Instagram like your blog, plan it and schedule it. Have a plan for the week...even if it's just topics and not specific pics
The more the better. I saw huge gains when I went to posting once a day vs. 2 or 3 a week and even more gains when I went to 2x a day) You can't post enough on Instagram (assuming it's good...but you'll have to wait for the 3rd C for that)
Use data to pick the right time. Iconosquare and other IG analytics sites will show when your posts do best. Use that data to post at the best times. (Saturday through Monday are my peak days).
You can use apps to help keep on schedule like Hootsuite, Latergramme, etc.
