Responsibilities:
Currently I am working as Sub-contract Engineer with Saudi Binladin Group(SBG) at a mega project (US $
3.75 Billion) i.e. King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Project, Riyadh. It is a high rise buildings project.
• Analyze the site requirement received in the form of a Material Supply Requisition along with supporting
documents to issue the Sub-contract
• Send Enquiry Packages to the Sub-contractors to get their Quotations & Preparation of Cost Comparisons
• Make sure the Sub-contractor is pre-qualified with SBG and can be awarded a Sub-contract
• Conduct meetings with the Sub-contractors to finalize the payment terms, completion time and other
contractual clauses
• Co-ordinate and communicate with site management to develop/modify Sub-contract Clauses accordingly
• Finally, develop the Sub-contract in accordance to main Contract, relevant technical specifications &
Standards etc

Responsibilities:
Mabarak Centre was a high rise Fast Track building project worth US$ 30 Million (about 70 floors including 3
basements) which included five towers. It was a project of Abu Dhabi Group. Its execution was divided into
packages. Some local Contractors and M/s Bauer International worked as Contractor in the said packages. The
Project Manager’s role was given to M/s Turner. I supervised this prestigious project as Resident Engineer.
• Carried out complete Supervision job along with my team to ensure the required Quality and Progress as per
contractual obligations. I Reviewed and approved all submittals i.e. Construction Schedule, Shop Drawings,
Method Statements, Materials For Construction, Bar Bending Schedules, HSE Plan, QA/QC Plan,
Equipment Fitness Certificates, Staff/Labour Deployment Etc.

2. • Ensured the proper and smooth supply of construction materials as per project specifications and keeping in
place Contingency Plan to ensure continuity of works
• Ensured quality of all works through proper testing of Concrete, Steel etc, Ground Anchor’s Proof and
Performance Tests, Static Load Tests, PDA Tests and Low Strain Integrity Test as per ASTM
• Prepared reports of tests conducted for submission to the Employer and M/s Turner (The Project Manager)
for their information and record
• Issued Site Observation Notices (SON), Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) when ever work was not
performed as per specification

Responsibilities:
Defence Housing Authority is one of the biggest Real Estate/ Housing authority of Pakistan which is known
for its quality construction and strict following of By Laws.
I worked as Assistant Project Engineer and also I was assigned the additional duty of Quality Control
Engineer to ensure the Quality of Contraction Work supervised by me & my team. During my job I
Supervising various Infra Structure Civil Structural & Architectural Projects such as Sewerage Disposal
Station, Kids Campus, Service Club, Staff Residence Apartments, Parks etc)
As an Assistant Project Engineer my Job included:
• Coordination with Designers to help the Contractor develop Shop Drawings from IFC Drawings and
hence giving approval of Shop Drawings
• Arrangement of Kickoff meetings making sure that all major stake holder participate in the meeting

masonary blocks & accessories and plaster materials & accessories, NDT etc. as per the requirement
of project specifications and relevant international standards i.e. ASTM & BS
• Reviewing construction Method Statements for quality control in all kinds of civil, structural &
architectural works using the international standards and project specifications
• Close monitoring of Works to be in conformance to the Standards & Specifications as prescribed in
the Contract Documents. Mainly ASTM & BS standards were followed
• In case of any contractual deviation, raised Site Instructions/Letters & NCRs to the Contractors and
then follow up to get NCR closed by an approved corrective action.
