2. Gartner Named “Hyperautomation” as its #1 Strategic
Technology Trend for 2020…
78% of organizations had already
implemented some form of RPA by end of 2020
and 16% plan to do so in the next 3 years
Only 26% of organizations that are piloting
automations – and 38% of those implementing
and scaling –have an enterprise-wide
intelligent automation strategy.
LinkedIn’s 2020 Emerging Jobs Report ranks
“AI Specialist” & “Robotics Engineers” as
the Top 2 growing position in the U.S.
Even before the pandemic accelerated
digital transformation efforts, 2020 began
with nearly 918,000 tech jobs unfilled in
the U.S. – and millions in lost productivity.

Editor's Notes
Eduardo to ask Kishore about his perspective on this slide once he is done.
Jairo/Elena – can you provide a quick overview of your role in the organization and your automation journey so far, including the technologies that you have leveraged so far and the new ones that you are working with.
Elena - One of the main challenges that we see with companies trying to scale RPA is how they manage the pipeline and measure the success of the program. Orange has done some amazing things here – can you share more about what you’ve done and key tips to the audience when it comes to best practices here.
Jairo – in your case, how do you prioritize opportunities and what are you doing in this area?
Kishore – from your perspective, what have you seen your clients done right and done wrong here?
Elena/Jairo - Another area that we see a lot of companies underestimate is the importance of a strong post implementation support model defined from the beginning of the journey. Knowing that you’ve been through this for many years, what would you recommend companies to do to define a strong governance and maintenance model for their robots?
Kishore – from your perspective, what have you seen your clients done right and done wrong here?
There’s a lot of things that companies can automate but it will not always be financially feasible for the RPA COE to do it all.
Jairo - What’s your perspective about the concept of citizen development and automation champions to democratize RPA? What have you done so far? Elena – anything to add?
Jairo/Elena - As we discussed at the beginning, there’s a significant shortage of talent in the automation space. Are you experiencing similar challenges and what have you done to attract, train and retain the best talent? How are you using 3rd parties to expand your access to talent?
Kishore – what have you seen your clients do here?
