Siddheshwar Prasad.
• 2nd Education Policy in 1986 later revised in 1992

was a long due and much awaited reform in the education sector, which will transform
millions of lives in the times to come! “ PM Narendra Modi.
"The challenge will be to match the ambition behind in the National Education Policy
with implementation and resources. I have my doubts that the Finance Ministry will be
very obliging as far as fulfilling ambitious goals that have been approved by the
Cabinet." Congress MP Shashi Tharoor told India Today TV.
National Education policy after so many years of wait is welcome step. But as I have
said earlier, an edu. policy cannot be a compilation of all wishful thinking about
