3. Pengertian Teori Humanistik
Proses belajar humanistik
menitikberatkan kebebasan setiap
individu untuk lebih memusatkan
perhatian kepada diri peserta didik.
Harisah Hanis (2020) berpendapat
bahwa, konsep dari teori belajar
humanis yaitu proses memanusiakan
manusia, dimana seorang individu
diharapkan mampu untuk
mengekspresikan diri, artinya manusia
dapat menggali dan menemukan
potensi yang ada dalam dirinya sendiri
untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan.

Penerapan teori humanistik lebih banyak berkaitan dengan
pikiran, atau pikiran selama proses pembelajaran, yang mewarnai
metode yang digunakan. Peran guru dalam pembelajaran
humanistik adalah menjadi fasilitator bagi siswa, sedangkan guru
memberikan motivasi dan kesadaran akan pentingnya belajar
dalam kehidupan siswa. Guru memfasilitasi pengalaman belajar
bagi siswa dan membantu siswa mencapai tujuan belajarnya.

8. Kelebihan Teori Humanistik
• Lebih bersifat membentuk kepribadian, hati nurani,
perubahan sikap, analisis terhadap fenomena sosial.
• Siswa memiliki semangat dan inisiatif dalam belajar.
• Guru memahami dan menerima pola pikir siswa,
karena setiap siswa memiki pola pikir yang
berbeda-beda.
• Siswa mempunyai banyak pengalaman yang berarti.
• Siswa cenderung lebih diajarkan kekreatifan dan
mandirian agar pemahaman dalam kegiatan belajar
dapat terbantu
9. Kekurangan Teori Humanistik
Lebih bersifat individual.
Sangat membutuhkan dan terpaku pada motivasi dan
lingkungan belajar untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran
bagi peserta didik.
Bersifat lebih kompleks, sehingga sangat sulit dalam
penerapan yang bersifat praktis.
Potensi yang ada dalam diri mereka akan sangat sulit untuk
mereka pahami.
Proses belajar akan tertinggal apabila peserta didik tidak
sebaik mungkin dalam mengeali potensi dirinya.
10. Menurut Assegaf (2011) kriteria bentuk pendidikan humanistik
adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Adanya sarana atau prasarana yang memudahkan proses belajar
mengajar, artinya harus tersedia berbagai jenis bahan/sumber
belajar.
2. Siswa bebas bergerak di dalam kelas, mengemukakan pendapat,
tidak dilarang membicarakan materi pelajaran, dan tidak
dikelompokkan untuk kecerdasan.
3. Menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang penuh kasih, hangat, hormat,
dan terbuka, yang berarti guru siap mendengarkan keluhan siswa
dengan aman dan menjaga rahasia siswa.
11. 4. Jika ada masalah pribadi dengan siswa, guru memecahkan
masalah dengan berkomunikasi secara pribadi tanpa melibatkan
kelompok.
5. Guru mengawasi setiap proses pembelajaran yang dilalui siswa,
membuat catatan dan evaluasi individu, dan meminimalkan ujian
formal.
6. Ada kemungkinan peningkatan profesionalisme guru , artinya
guru dapat menggunakan dukungan lain
