2. Actors
• There is normally a good looking male that
can be a bit stupid and get into trouble, but
can also be really romantic in a relationship.
• There is also a pretty woman who is a
hopeless romantic/very emotional and never
wants to believe that her partner has gotten
into trouble.
• Often a child is the one that is the main cause
of the man and woman getting back together.
3. Music
• The music is often upbeat, cheesy and happy
to emphasise these emotions to the audience
and get them to feel them too.
• This is until the drama element of the film is
introduced, when the music gets more
dramatic in order to fit the mood.
4. Story line
• Man and Woman either meet and fall in love
or the audience just follow their love story.
• There is then often an accident, where one of
them gets hurt, or another person which
brings the drama element.
• This is then solved and they go back to being
happy again.
5. Camera angles/shots
• Often lots of close ups so the audience feel
connected to the actors facial expressions.
• During drama long shots are used a lot
between two things that get cut together to
get closer at a quicker pace.
6. Lighting
• While the couple are in love the lighting is
more than likely bright. There may also be
hints of pink or red to emphasise the love.
• The drama (accident/argument) will most
likely happen at night or in a dark/dimly lit
room.
