S8 Mechanical engineering students at Trinity College of Engineering distributed lunch packets to over 200 patients at the nearby Medical College as part of a charity event to promote giving. The event was covered by Big FM radio. Additionally, S8 Mechanical engineering student Pranav Pradeep Chandran received a certificate of appreciation and scholarship from the National Council for Technology for a training conducted by Armstech. An S2 Electronics and Communication engineering student designed "Stunt Gloves with Spark" for self-protection of women, which delivers electric shocks for protection without significant injury. The Civil Engineering department visited Little Flower Convent to provide a musical performance and lunch for handicapped residents as part of their first charitable work.
