3. ROAD EQUIPMENTS
Graders are multipurpose machines used for
finishing ,shaping ,bank sloping and ditching.
They are also used for mixing ,spreading , side
casting, leveling and crowning, light stripping
operations , general construction and dirt road
maintenance.
A graders primary purpose is cutting and moving
material with the moldboard .
Graders are capable of working on slopes as steep
as 3:1

4. Loaders are used extensively in construction work to handle and
transport bulk material such as earth and rock , to load trucks , to
excavate earth , and to charge aggregate bins at asphalt and concrete
plants .

5. These machines use hydraulic power to create pressure to penetrate into
ground to excavate the material which may be loose or tight.
Hydraulic excavators are classified by the digging motion of the
