• Work History
01/2011 to 08/2015 Assembly Welder and Trainer
Interlake/Mecalux – 701 Interlake Dr. Pontiac, IL 61764 Ph. (815)842-4625
Interlake builds racking systems for large scale warehouses. My job there was to set up these racks in
assembly procedure, maintain tolerances (proficient in tolerances within 1/32”), while maintaining
high quality welds, as well as training new employees in the processes and inspections of making
parts.
I took on the responsibilities of training new employees around September of 2011, about 8 months
after starting work there. Training employees covers many grounds such as work safety, environmental
awareness, proper weld techniques/procedures, diagnosing weld equipment malfunctions, hoist
procedures (safe handling of parts), blueprint reading, and everything involved with set up of parts in
the assembly production environment. I have trained well over 200 new employees in my time there.
11/2008 to 06/2009 General laborer
Stollers International – 11364 W. Rt. 115 Herscher, IL 60941 Ph. (815)426-2119
Most of my time with Stollers Int. involved building maintenance such as setting up work stations,
installing new power outlets, lawn care, organizing/ labeling parts dept., placing equipment up for
display, assembling new tractor mowers, and assisting trained mechanics when needed.
09/2004 to 11/2008 Shift leader
Subway – 961 W. Reynolds St. Pontiac, IL 61769 Ph. (815)842-3333
My ending position at Subway was a lead man for 2nd
shift, though depending on the work week I
might be a store opener or close, it varied often. I would do store counts on inventory and ordering
inventory for the next week. I was a trainer for new employees. I worked all areas of the store from
cashier, to prep work, from the start of the order process to finish, drive thru, opens and closes, and
more. The last year employed there I worked alone at the new Subway opened in the local Wal-mart
super center.
I was eventually approached by Lynn Stollers (owner of Stollers International), who was impressed
with my work ethic, and was offered a job with Stollers International.
• Unemployment
06/2009 to 01/2011 Cause of unemployment
June 17th
of 2009 I was in a motorcycle accident that left me unable to work and hospitalized for some
time. Eventually I made a full recovery with no restrictions.
