• SAP Ariba is ready

Objective: All affected customers are equipped to adopt the new release

Summary
Innovation will be delivered more frequently and in a more consumable manner.
We will shift away from readiness activities that revolve around major programs (E.g. 14s
Procurement, 15s Network) and align customer readiness with a quarterly release cadence.
Customer communication will be streamlined and more predictable.
Knowledge Transfer will leverage more feature videos that allow users to consume in more
manageable chunks. This will be supplemented by a live overview and Q&A session with
product experts.
Self-service feature exploration will provide the ability to explore new features and prepare for
change management activities in your test site prior to enablement in production.

We would prefer a predictable cadence that allows us to plan in advance for releases and any associated readiness activities. We want access to explore new features in advance of their adoption in a consistent environment with low setup costs. We want more control over the timing when adopting features. This includes the opportunity to accelerate a mandatory change. Faster Innovation • Engineering teams are moving to shorter development cycles that result in smaller but more frequent, focused releases. • Development and consumption will not necessarily align and there are advantages to decoupling. The Early Access (EA) program is expensive in terms of both time and resources.

This will be supplemented by a live overview and Q&A session with product experts.
