2. Introduction
 IT veteran Antoine Chaya joined Oracle Corporation in its
Atlanta, Georgia office, where he a director involved with
consulting. Antoine Chaya currently serves as a senior
director for strategic accounts for Oracle, based in Redwood
Shores, California. Industry giant Oracle is involved in
numerous endeavors aimed at giving back to the community,
one of which is the Oracle Academy.
The Oracle Academy is a program that assists computer
science education on a global scale. Through the efforts of
the academy, educators all over the world help motivate and
equip millions of student to become future leaders and
trailblazers.
The program provides a range of resources such as
curriculum and courseware, certification and exam
preparation materials, and technology for ongoing computer
science education at all levels.

3. Oracle Academy
 An example of its efforts is the academy’s
collaboration in 2013 and 2014 with Carnegie
University and students from four Jordanian
Universities to translate into Arabic the Alice
software program, thereby opening new avenues
for Arabic-speaking students to learn how to
program in the Java programming language.
In 2014, the academy worked with more than
7,800 member institutions from around the world
and trained over 8,600 educators from 100
countries. The academy annually impacts 2.2
million students.
