 With over 1.3 billion monthly active users and 2009
revenues surpassing $12.47 billion, Facebook-the-product
and Facebook-the-business are killing it.

 His leadership style is described as encouraging and
aggressive. A person who always demands constant
innovation and growth, he loves debates and challenges.
 He is able to adapt quickly to situation and responds to
complaints right away from his users.
Observations
 Facebook’s organizational structure is an example of a
narrow span of control, where there are fewer subordinates
accountable to a manager.
 Facebook Company has a flat organizational structure with
fewer levels where each manager will have a narrow span
of control.
 The process of removing levels from an organizational
hierarchy can help in certain way to improve the business
by reducing costs, improve speed of communication,
reduce a firm’s costs and lead to more flexible working
practices
