Elon Musk was born in 1971 in South Africa. He demonstrated an early aptitude for computers and programming, selling his first video game at age 12. He founded or co-founded several successful companies including Zip2, PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla Motors, and SolarCity. At SpaceX, he pursued the goal of making humanity a multiplanetary species through colonization of Mars. He introduced the Hyperloop high-speed transportation concept in 2013. 4. Elon Musk was born in 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa.
At age 4 he read out the whole Britannica Encyclopedia.
At the age of 9 he got his hands on his first computer, the Commodore
VIC- 20 and completed “how to program” guide in just three days.
At 12, he used his skills to create a video game called Blastar and sold to a
magazine called PC and Office Technology for approximately US$500.
At age 18 he migrated to Canada and secure Canadian Citizenship through
his Canadian born mother.
