INTRODUCTION
The Petronas Towers are the world's tallest twin skyscrapers and remained as the tallest
buildings in Malaysia until 2019, The twin tower were originally built at a height of 1400 feet
(427m).

 August 31,1990, by YAB Data official opening Seri Dr. Mahathir
Mohamad, the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia.
MATERIALS
 THE TOWERS ARE “SMART” STRUCTURE BUILT WITH A SYSTEM THAT
CORDINATES PERFECTLY TELECOMMUNICATIONS, ENVIRONMENTAL
CONTROL, POWER SUPPLY, LIGHTNING FIRE AND SMOKE CONTROL AND
BUILDINNG SAFETY.
 WITH 88 FLOORS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE AND STEEL FASCADE,
GLASS AND ALUMINIUM, HAVE A TOTAL OF 32,000 WINDOWS.
 THE SOIL HAVE STEEL FRAME RESTING ON REIGFORCED CONNCRETE
PLATES.
 The floor designs are based on traditional weaving intricate patterns.

NORTHEST SECTOR OF THE
PROPERTY.

THETOWERS HAVE 5 UNDERGROUND LEVELSOF

Each tower structure outwardly from a perimeter ring 16 mega
reinforced
concrete cylindrical columns.
 A very tough for the pillars did not have too thick.
 Columns with a diameter of 2.4 meters, tapers upwards and
are finally
joined to one another by arched beams reinforced concrete
also.
 Between each column there is a separation between 8 and
10 meters which
is filled with a mega-frame reinforced concrete and steel.
