To determine the space requirement of user, their circulation behavior must also observe
through user movement pattern. Not only the guest but also its staff and employee. The

Guest with vehicle can go directly to the parking area to park their car before going to the reception lobby to confirm their
reservation and booking or ask for a valet parking services. After confirmation of booking and reservation they can now
explore the hotel amenities and/or go directly to the designated room.
Guest will be drop-off to the main entrance for confirmation of
reservation and booking.
3. Self Check-
out

Self check-out trough device installed in the room if no further
inquiries on the main reception lobby. After the self check-out,
Electronic card system in room can directly drop to the nearest
available drop box. after this process guest can directly go to
parking area or valet service area to retrieve the car. Same
with guest with no car, they can exit directly or ask for transfer
service.
Check out through main reception lobby are also possible to
settle remaining inquiries. Before going to the parking or valet
service.
For Guest with no private car. There area some instances that
transfer services are available and may be part of the package.
There are also transfer service that a hotel offer that can be
book or schedule on the same day or in an advance manner.

4. Circulation pattern in the banquet/function hall are separated from the main hotel lobby to avoid the conflict in assisting
accommodating guest. Also to avoid joining the accommodating guest from non hotel resident. In some cases there are group of hotel
guest that arrived for a conference or a business activity or meeting (e.g. Team building, seminar, meetings). There are cases that upon
arrival, they go directly to the designated function room before going into their designated/assigned room. So it is important to have a
separate activity flow for this such kind of circulation to avoid traffic in user.
Other cases that happen in the event hall are multiple inquiries of hotel non-resident, event guest or attendees. This will make conflict
in prioritizing hotel guest to accommodate. So it is important to put a separate entrance for this kind of user.
