Referrals Responsible for processing paperwork and prepared patient for specific procedures,
obtained prior authorization from insurances when appropriate. Coordinated transportation to and
from appointments when needed. Called in prescriptions to pharmacy as ordered by provider. Also
assisted many times with office emergencies including calling for emergency ACLS or BLS
transportation of patients, preparing medical history for proper handoff. Enclosing documentation,
progress notes medication lists Summary list of patient conditions, patient demographics, and
kept patient as calm as possible and notified next of kin.
Took clinic inventory for administrative assistant to place orders, then responsible for receiving
orders and restocking.
