PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Leadership and physical training have been a part of my life since Junior High School. I competed in
athletics from Junior High through my career in the military up until this very day. From my adolescence
through my adulthood I have had experience working with others in the field of physical fitness. I
continue to use my military experience, background in physical fitness, leadership, and my teaching and
coaching abilities to work with athletes in high school and adults outside of school.

Fort Stockton Independent School District Aug 2012-Present
Teacher (mathematics, shop), Head Cross Country, Assistant Swimming Coach, Freshman Football
Coach, Assistant Track, Assistant Powerlifting.
As a math teacher I plan lessons for six classes, create tests for assessments, and coordinate with
other teachers and staff to efficiently facilitate the education of students. I collect and analyze
assessment data in order to gauge my teaching effectiveness. I will be applying my capabilities
as a math teacher in the shop this year. As a coach, I have designed and implemented strength
and conditioning program for the high school swim team for the past 3 years. I have been
proactive in the development and procurement of training aids and equipment for athletics. I
have participated in the planning and scheduling of summer football camps and regular season
practices as a freshman football coach. This year I will also be coaching cross country, track, and
powerlifting, and beginning spring semester I will be teaching Kinesiology 1164 for Midland
College WRTTC.

Maintenance Supervisor III
Respond to emergency maintenance calls during the normal working hours and after hours when
on call. Maintain the overall maintenance of the Fort Stockton N5 unit by responding to work
order requests and being proactive during normal daily walkthroughs. Troubleshoot electrical,
plumbing, AC/HVAC, pneumatic locks, and carpentry issues at the unit while maintaining the
safety of myself, my workers, staff, and inmates at the unit. Supervise 3-8 inmates on a daily
basis while practicing proper safety procedures and extreme tool control. Assigning the priority
and planning of daily work activities and coordinating with the unit supervisors to ensure safety
and security rules and procedures are not interfered with or violated. Coordinating with the
maintenance office clerk in the location of parts and the requisitioning of required parts.

Loadmaster Instructor, Non-Commissioned Officer Aircrew Training
As a loadmaster I was responsible for supervising the loading, positioning, and the safety of all
passengers and cargo carried in a KC-130J cargo aircraft. My responsibility was to ensure that
the aircraft’s stability is maintained before flight operations can take place. As a loadmaster
instructor it was my job to train unqualified Marine loadmasters. I trained these Marines on the

proper performance of the job and how to become successful, reliable, and independent
loadmasters. I have trained over 20 Marine Loadmasters, 14 of which have become fully
qualified loadmasters. As the Non-Commissioned Officer of Aircrew Training, I directly
supervised four other Marine loadmasters and sometimes up to ten. It was my job to ensure that
all loadmasters are trained in a in a timely manner and qualified loadmasters were assigned to the
proper mission, and coordinate with the pilots and crew chiefs to establish a flight schedule. I
had successfully coordinated over 400 flights and have compiled a total of 2000 hours of flight
time all of which were completed with safety and success.
