I entered the US Army in 1986 and was stationed in Europe until 1990. From 1990 until 2015 I was stationed throughout
the world and the United States. These deployments gained and enhanced my experience and leadership skills:
Experience
2012- Present: Quality Control NCOIC, Flight Platoon Sergeant US Army - Fort Lewis, WA Managed a
Quality Control office of 4 aircraft inspectors. Responsible for daily maintenance, pre-flight and post-flight
inspects of aircraft prior to flight operations. Ensuring aircraft and flight personnel were prepared according to
policies and procedures. Effective decision-making in high-pressure situations including combat environments.
Trained and instructed subordinates and supported units on aircraft maintenance and safety procedures.
Supervised operation and organizational maintenance of specialized equipment. Identified and documented
discrepancies. Strictly adhered to all policies and procedures.
2005-2012: Training NCOIC, Flight Engineer Instructor US Army - Fort Eustis, VA Prepared operation
plans and orders to support training of personnel resources and installations. Coordinated training schedules and
filed crucial administrative paperwork. Maintained complete accountability during redeployment of all aircraft
sensitive items and communication equipment. Numerous personnel and cargo drops from CH-47 aircraft in
Iraq. Completed visual inspections of personnel, aircraft and cargo drops as a daily routine. Authored and
published orders with concise procedures for Army soldiers and team members. Supervised team members at
intermediate and forward staging bases. Cross trained company personnel in different maintenance shops.
Maintained and managed company training schedules. Directly responsible for complex training and real world
missions for 100’s of Army, Airforce, Marines and Navy DoD personnel.
