In this poster, two types online users are illustrated. The one at the lower right symbolize the people who
revolves their lives around the Internet- without proper precaution, and where their lives revolve around it. Every
likes, reacts, and shares count, without knowing the consequences of the Internet: identity theft, cyber bullying,
online theft, viruses and spywares, and other else. Meanwhile, on the upper left, are people who are digital literate.
These people uses the Internet with precaution and for productive reasons. To be able to be digital literate, we need
to be responsible, respectful, and value our security and privacy. Being a responsible digital citizen means having the
online social skills to take part in online community life in an ethical and respectful way. Responsible digital
citizenship also means: behaving lawfully, protecting your privacy and that of others, recognising your rights and
responsibilities when using digital media and thinking about how your online activities affect yourself, other people
you know, and the wider online community.
