Pupils from Waldorf schools in Vác, Hungary and Písek, Czech Republic created chat pocketbooks and portfolios to document their experiences in a cultural exchange project. The pocketbooks contained basic words and expressions in Czech, Hungarian, and English to facilitate communication. The portfolios allowed students to write and draw about their experiences, and included self-evaluations and evaluations from teachers. Students visited each other's schools and cities, developing relationships across cultures and languages.
